This is happening because of the fear that crypto currency is unhealthy of the economy. So they are trying their best to bring crypto currency down for that very reason.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

You're exaggerating. No one declares war, it is the flight of your fantasies. And don't use words like war at all. Tell me you want to cryptocurrency took its place in our world? If so, then stop spraying rumors and create such branches on the forum.

Maybe they are afraid in cryptocurrency so other countries are starting war against cryptocurrency. I am very thankful that my country is starting to recognize cryptocurrency.

Yes definitely Banks and governments are afraid of cryptocurrencies that's why did decide say two block or removed from their current countries but it is not possible to block are all the countries in the world because cryptocurrencies are more powerful than other currencies it is built up with no one else so we cannot do anything against Bitcoin are other cryptocurrencies.

The main reason is that they are simply afraid of competing with cryptocurrencies. Second , they are afraid that money obtained by criminal means will be laundered with the help of cryptocurrencies. Third, it is very difficult to collect taxes from cryptocurrencies.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
Governments want to get tax on crypto transactions because all the transactions are decentralized and governments can't control it. They are against freedom.

The main reason why many governments declare war on bitcoin because they do not want their local currency to collapse with bitcoin so they anticipate it by the rejection of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
This may slow down the collapse in countries where the local economy is still strong but in countries where things are not working out correctly a ban is not going to have an effect, people are going to do what they need in order to survive, at some point things get so bad that even law abiding citizens will risk going to jail than to go another day without food.

So if this refers to te government banning or illegalizing cryptocurrency stuff in the market, then i would say it like this way. Governments sure didnt understand well how cryptocurrency work so they cannot classify it as a currency or an asset to add tax into. Other thing is that they also protect the people from scams crypto would be bringing because they cannot control it.

It is sad, but true. we can face that right from the time when Bitcoin became popular and significant. Strange thing about the war wasnt when BTC wasnt so popular!

Governments don’t understand Bitcoin and want to control it. It is true that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be disruptive to banking as we know it. This makes them want to hold Bitcoin back. Governments also want to make sure they get their taxes from us as well.

Yes government always want us to pay for them, taxes are their way, they dont understand crypto neither control it, so they preventing it by spreading, banning crypto in some countries are their resolve.

No much gain saying on this issue. It is very much obvious that Government does not want Rival in the discharge of its duties in the Economy which they Govern, and most of them are seeing BTC as A rivalry tool on line because it is deregulated. Another issue is that revenue or Tax to be charged against any BTC Holder is not made possible based on the Amity and its peer to peer nature of operation. Hence, the revenue drive is being hindered. Owing to this, waging war against BTC is very much eminent, though, I believe in less than the next century, BTC would have dominated if not totally out casted even the Fiat money by the Government regulation.

For me its not totally war on cruptofurrency they are just  focussing on how they will put taxes through bitcoin and also they are worried because they think that some of the bitcoiners used it for illegal purposes and also they cannot trace any transactions.Controlling bitcoin needs more studies or cannot be control.

Because the government cannot control and supervise the cryptocurrency!
Moreover, cryptocurrencies have affected the financial order of the country, and the government cannot collect taxes from cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the government is very helpless. Some countries even declare that cryptocurrencies are illegal!

War on cryptocurrency is just like drugs, no one can really prevent every people from investing on cryptocurrency because those who are knowledgeable about the market will really invest on bitcoins more than placing their money on the banks.

there are so many reasons behind the war against crypto currency by many governments like some of them declare that crypto is illegal and this money is using for illegal activities but if we look at the money nature other currencies would also be used for the criminal activities as well and crypto is also a money we should welcome it and we have to use the money for a good purpose.

That’s practically a waste of time. The U.S are not fully against Bitcoin, same with Russia. Russia government even talked about opening up a Bitcoin mining farm which I believe they might have done by now cause they are fully in support of Bitcoin. There are also lots of countries that supports the use of Bitcoin. As for those who are against it, that’s their business alone.

You forget about Japan which have not only accepted Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but they have developed lot of exchanges and the acceptance is high between cryptocurrency users. South Korea are also developing some regulation to run smoothly cryptocurrency business in their country.

Not actually war, they are concerned since there are a lot of scam in cryptocurrency and they are protecting their people and investors from getting involved of it. Some are banning cryptocurrency and some are regulating it to limit the possibility of people getting involved in scam project or investments.

Perhaps the government thinks that with the circulation of bitcoin in an increasingly widespread country will have a bad impact on the local currency later so the way to deal with the ordeal is to declare war on this digital currency as soon as possible.

Because government does not want to accept cryptocurrency due to its uncertainty and legalities. It is so hard to pass a law that will enable and accept cryptocurrency in that certain country especially if bitcoin has a lot of technicalities and it is difficult for the average person to understand how it works. Aside from that other are considering cryptocurrency as a gamble but in my opinion i am open minded and love the way cryptocurrency being made. It is just some are close minded person that always thinks the negativeness on it.
