The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

We definitely still have time! Unfortunately I cannot say as I'm unsure myself, but I'm certain the team are working hard to ensure we have enough liquidity!

Throwback

If crypto continues to be as volatile as the past couple of days,
how will ordinary people get excited about decentralization?

We need real utility now—and here's how we do that

“Instead of offering fragmented experiences, we need to embrace “composability” at the architectural level, so that developers—and if we do it right, end-users— can mix and match the tools they need to accomplish their workflows. We need to visually chain together different applications and data states so that users can see how information and value flows between the networks that they interact with on the blockchain and beyond.
To get one billion users onto the blockchain, while protecting decentralization, we need to rally around a set of reusable design and architecture patterns and invite contributions in an open way.” — Chris in How to Get One Billion Users on Blockchain, Part 2

almost all altcoins are affected by the downtrend of Bitcoin including Cardstack, but I think now is a good time to buy CARD tokens, for reasons that are currently cheap below ICO prices and don't yet have many exchanges.

True, Cardstack's Card token won the Bibox listing vote, due to strong community support. Thanks for your thoughts on Cardstack Smiley

I was looking there, indeed, but that told me practically nothing. In my country we call it a 'syndrome of deep meaning searching'. Please take no offence, as the whole market is discussing 'fake volumes', but I've seen exchanges and asked on forums and got only 'illuminati' kind of feedback.

"A healthy software ecosystem depends on creating the right preconditions and then reliably maintaining a supportive environment.
And like the plants and animals in a natural environment, software that 'lives' inside an ecosystem needs a minimum level of stability to survive."

Good morning to all cardstack members, Please whats the solution to bitcoin fluctuations in a every slight minutes. ... fluctuation in demand isn't a good thing, because it has an effect on the price, making it volatile too. Volatility in price makes it hard for bitcoin businesses to grow, because it introduces too much uncertainty...am scared already

The team has said that they've been in contact with Bibox and are doing everything necessary for the listing. We'll have to wait till they can announce the date from Bibox

how much longer can we wait?? listing on Bibox promised in early August, and today is September 10! and so already almost 1.5 month waiting for!
it seems that the team scored on liquidity.. the money for the ICO was collected and scored on everything... and they do not care about their community at all!

You must understand that it is out of Cardstack's hands. They have already sent over 50,000,000 tokens to BiBox. They have sent the paperwork. I am sure BiBox is very busy, and they will certainly add CARD asap.
