I read in a bunch of posts that people were having trouble with many pools but siamining was working.

Is this still an issue, or are other pools working? Do you guys recommend any pools over siamining?

I'm seeing results significantly under WhatToMine is calculating.

I'm getting about 75 to 85% of what WhatToMine says I should be earning. The A3s are running smooth, 24hr average just above the 815GH/s.

Should I try another pool? Or is this normal?
What to mine could be delayed. Are you getting 11 Sia Coins per 5 minutes?

I'll let you know in 5 minutes and counting Grin
the stats page tells you in 5m, 15m, 60m, 6h and 24h intervals

Same. Whattomine shows 150 SC/h. Siamining 115 SC/h.
It should be 130 SC/hr

By looking at top miners who have stable hashrate and dividing their SC/hr with their workers, it seems like everyone is at 115-120/hr ballpark. You are getting 130?

Thanks a lot for your answers, it's helping.
Well now I have another issue, it seems the tab "miner status" doesnt show anything anymore when i click on it...
https://framapic.org/YuR729YQcbpc/rheIg0GxNH6m.png
Is it just the pool isnt configured well or something else? I m a bit worried i harmed the miner by putting the frequency to 750.
Thanks

Go back to your system page and see what it says under hardware version?

Probably just your miner configuration settings are wrong?

Hi,
I  have 2 A3 and I have this issue with both : in system/overview/hardware version it says  "Socket connect failed: Connection refused"
Do you have any idea what i can do?
I tried to set nat/pat config in my router to let port 3333 and 20550 go throug but it doesnt change anything.
I tried to reset the miner, then it works for some time and get back to "   Socket connect failed: Connection refused"
Any idea?
Thanks a lot!

I got this error when i was trying to use MPH. What pool you using?

ATM I'm getting about 117 when I shot this video earlier tonight on reviewing the antminer a3 + profits and overclocking I was getting 130 xD

Man, you're the only one in here that understands what is going on with these units. 600 Frequency is jacked. These miners are OVERCLOCKED already. Now we got people that have no idea what they are doing, running these beasts on 120v circuits with inadequate PSU's and overclocking them. There is reports of meters showing 1400 watt pulls at the wall. Big amperage too.  I'm running a couple and I know a bit about electricity. Not as much as you, but I know enough to know that these guys are playing with fire. Literally. If your breakers and wiring aren't extremely robust, you very may well end up with a tragic situation on your hands. These things are heating up my 12 gauge wire with new 20 amp 240 v breakers. If you do this with a bad or malfunctioning breaker, your breaker box is going up in flames. Maybe your house with it. Please think about what you are doing and do some serious research. These are COMMERCAIL miners that are running at Redline at the factory setting. This shit is NO JOKE! That's all I'll say. Good luck.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

For those having a dead hashboard we need to regroup and  send a strong message to bitmain to have a quick support.
For those interested by this approach. Please send me a PM and I will add you to my message.
At the end of the day we invest a lot of €€$$ and we are loosing money everyday and we all know it will be difficult to catch

OK yesterday they suppose to be back to work.
but no reply to message and ticket.

So I'm in.

I send you personal message.

Profits are visibly decreasing by a good percentage every hour now. I wonder when it'll taper off....

Just based on the global hash rate, it looks like most of these boxes are online now. I would say the tapering is starting. My guess is somewhere in the $50 - $100 / day category until the next batch.

I would also venture to say most are online also.  I made the mistake of using UPS, so while everyone who used Fedex and DHL were getting theirs at the beginning of the week, I got mine yesterday.  I had to be in the last 20%.

I dont think we are even close to reaching batch 1 max. Total is at 5500 THS now. We started at 500. Assuming half GPU miners are gone by now, puts A3 at 5250 THS. 800 GHS average comes to 6500 A3.

We are only half way there I guess. Bitmain sold 13000 A3 was the talk.

despite obvious risk on difficulty/hashrate fast increase there are 3 hopes:
1. Siacoin price will grow
2. Current and new batch buyers will restrain from purchase since roi is getting longer and longer (even baikal x10 with 7000k investment seem more profitable now)
3. Difficulty will be adjusted upon Sia 139k block hardfork full implementation

any other thoughts?

Anyone had issues with luxor and siamining pools showing as dead?

I have been at this all Night and they just show up dead. Antpool shows as alive and hashing. But when checking the website no actual hashing is going on.

Startes when i updated my pool info last Night. If I dont add antpool it just doesnt show anything in the miner status. No firewall blocking things or so.

Was running smooth at the same place, network etc yesterday

I am selling mine at 6k$ or equivalent crypto
I traded my A3 for two S9's that were 2 weeks old... :-)
Rate of decay was too much.  Figured jump ship.

Some local guy is trying to sell one for $8500. Will these be hard to get? I know they are sold out now.

There is no way it’s worth even half that price. Income has dropped by half in the past few days and will likely go south of $100/day by next week.

Yea, its not worth 8500, but that stupid Baikal is selling for 10k wtf...  All these miners are way overpriced... have no idea what is going on. Huh
What is going on is in the name of CGMINER...    Crypto Greed Miner!  I don't understand why people pay so much and their ROI is 8+ months with a flat calculation, and not calculating in rate of decay of income.  But hey...  just makes the rest of us look smarter!
