Yes, I think bitcoin and many more crypto currencies will become a regular part of our lives, it will be something like cash and debit cards and we will spend what we have and not like credit cards where we spend more than we have.

The mobile phone payment systems are getting more and more known by people and I am sure it will take a lot of time but in 10 years time we will see that get more common and we will see bitcoin phone apps that will allow us to pay with bitcoin for regular stuff like eating a dinner in a restaurant and paying with bitcoin thanks to those mobile phone bitcoin payment apps. We just need to wait a bit and 10 years will be enough time for that.

10 years is a lot of time and too many things could happen during that time, for example bitcoin could be adopted globally and at that point everyone will know what is bitcoin and how valuable it is, however it is also a possible that bitcoin gets banned by most countries around the world and as such it doesn't grow a lot during that time frame or it could even go down because of all the bans.

Yes, I expect it as well that there are coins that will yet to be developed and there is even a possibility that it would be able to take the throne of bitcoin. Other developers would continue to innovate and they should not just focus on the technical side of the coin but they should know how to market it because even if they have great coin, people wouldn't be able to know it if they lack the marketing strategy. As for adoption, maybe 10x of the people who knew about cryptocurrency today would have already use cryptocurrency.

10 years from now you'll likely be able to go pay any major online retailer instantly with Bitcoin using Lightning Network. People will store some of their wealth in Bitcoin as people do in gold now. Bitcoin will be much less volatile and probably have a price in the low to mid 6 digits. There will be a handful of other major coins and a bunch of trash coins for trading like we have today, but it'll be a whole new set of trash coins. Ethereum or another blockchain computing platform will have a moderately sized set of applications running on it, but it won't take over from major centralized applciations. Bitcoin will be the main way in which people interact with cryptocurrencies.

I don't have much hopes at seeing big improvements in speed and transaction capacity on-chain. Just think about the massive drama that segwit brought. It was years of discussions until it actually happened, not without side effects (bitcoin cash was born and we now have this ridiculous war about who is the real bitcoin and whatnot). Further attempts will only bring more of that. There will no consensus.

Second layer scaling will get better in the future, I have no doubts about that. As far as altcoins go, I seriously doubt an altcoin without the store of value property will challenge bitcoin just because it's fast and cheap. People will rather use second layers on bitcoin once wallets are widespread and easy to use just to not go through the annoyance of dealing with a second token. I still hope nonetheless research and experimentation continues even if it happens outside of bitcoin.

Ten years from now it is not impossible that cryptocurrency has taken all over the world and it is not impossible that it could take over fiat money.

I think the industry will be great in future.  In some years to come bitcoin will be above $100,000 because many people are become aware of cryptocurrencies and what it can do in our current society.  Bitcoin is going to grow and no matter what what is happening now we should not be afraid to invest.

I don't know. As much as I would love having crypto to be a big thing in the future, it may not happen. Regulation is what will destroy the hopes of people who want crypto to go around 70-100k or more.

Crypto might be dead much sooner than we think it would, by the looks of how things are. 10 years later, I wouldn't mind if crypto is at the same price as now. Or maybe a little more would be good.

The future of Bitcoin in the coming years is really a better one. When one says that Bitcoin is the future currency it doesn't necessarily means that every other curreny will disappear so that Bitcoin will exist but instead,  it means that both Bitcoin and countries fiat will cooperate together to work things out.

The future of Bitcoin will be brighter and the onwards after 10 years will be more bright as we know that 9 years ago its was equal to 1 US dollar and now it is equal to a lot of US dollars so this is a great achievement. Even if we look at its average price it is on the increase trend which is a strong proof for its better future, if is spreading in the world and with the passage of time and is improving by price as well.

Is there really any point trying to see what the price would be in ten years. Probably since we have been able to see some huge increase over the years and let's just say we are able to get as high as this over the years within a short period of less than 10 years, then I would say within the range of $100k is quite realistic enough in 10 years.

The market could go more than that, we might get to start testing a higher low in a longer time frame as a good support, but however it is going to be, time will absolutely tell.

The first 10 years of the existence of bitcoin were very slow because the technology is still being developed and it still hasn't reach its final form, and even at this point in time the technology is still not perfected, but I think it will be during the next years, and then when that happens and finally we have cheap payments again I think that will be the moment in which adoption begins to grow faster.
