In my opinion, almost all coins are related. Therefore, when quotes of giants decrease, then altcoin logically go down this path.

The reason why the cryptocurrency plummets seems to be caused by concerns that China and South Korea and other important markets will adopt more stringent regulatory measures.

The South Korean Minister of Justice stated that the South Korean Ministry of Justice is preparing to draft a bill to prohibit transactions through certain cryptocurrency exchanges. Other officials of the South Korean government subsequently issued statements that were slightly more Microsoft (90.14, 1.79, 2.03%).

Reuters reported that the People's Bank of China has urged the authorities to ban the centralized trading of virtual currencies.

If the whole market falls, then the price of all altcoin logically went down. For example, if a country refuses bitcoin, the price of coins falls. But this is quite a normal situation for the market, crypto is always recovering and becoming more expensive.
I don't think so, Rise and fall of coins is based on supply and demand, but if it goes down it's not possible because it depends on the platform used, for example:
ETH Platform : all coins that depend on the ETH platform fall if Ethereum Price Down.
As for bitcoin not necessarily fall following ETH, because it stands alone.

Altcoins is going with two biggest cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum). I think that all other altcoins it is just noise and price connected with price of this two monsters of cryptoworld.

ALT coins prices drop during the time you posted the above question...it maybe due to a lot of reason, weak market volume investment, issues on the SCAMMER, BANNED, REGULATION of Bitcoin on several countries. Its happening until now,yet the market today are more stable, the volume of investment returned to normal trading, the prices ALT coins goes up and stable.

I think all the coins fell due to media coverage of Bitcoin and Altcoin falling.
Why does it affect?
We'll see, the news can affect many people's minds as coin owners to sell their coins right away to avoid losses.
Many people do panic selling.
So the price of Crypto continues to decline one cause is the media coverage.

In my opinion all the coins fell because:
- BTC is the most influential penny in the cryptographic market. BTC fluctuations and price reductions are for other currencies falling along.
- BTC and ETH are the two most potential coin values are low so people sell other coin to buy BTC and ETH
- The moves of the two big digital digital markets China and Korea have caused many investors to worry and sell in a hurry so prices have fallen...

any body know the reason for current drop?

Not all altcoins are down because what I see now is that altcoin prices have increased and especially with the rising altcoin prices probably from a large number of people buying altcoins and that is very helpful for the current price increase, as I see day by day altcoin prices are rising

all the coins fall, caused by the decline in bitcoin prices, this is what makes all the coins fall.

All coin is dropping because of dropping  bitcoin price. Altcoin price up & down it depends on bitcoin stability. When bitcoin price is pumping or dumping both time all coin price is dropping.

Does anyone found the coins that ALWAYS go oposite the market trend? If these would be exchangeable for BTC/ETH - it would be possible to create the easy profit. Of course I understand that the biggest limitation is the availability of the coin on market ( so the profit would be probably marginal), however I still think that it is worth try.

Most likely, because altcoins are depending on the value of bitcoin though it is part of cryptocurrency but bitcoin is a dominant cryptocurrency with high value. So, while the bitcoin is going down its value, definitely the other coins will drop down.

The market for cryptocurrencies is currently vulnerable to a variety of unfavorable news. People are always sensitive to news that they do not know where to hear.

There are different reasons for dumping and correction on the market. Almost all the altcoins were very dependent on Bitcoin, but now everything has changed and the situation on the market is very different.

The market is driven by news and the movement behind these news is bitter. Yes, now there are more than 1500 crypto-currencies on the market, but all of them depend on the price of bitcoin. Hence, such indicators, if bitcoin is corrected, all tokens are corrected. Of course, if all the exchanges set currency pairs to the dollar, then with a high degree of probability, the market will behave quite differently, but it is not profitable for exchanges, therefore only the top coin is traded to the dollar. While all the tokens will be traded to bitcoin, nothing will change and the price of altcoins will depend on the price of bitcoin and its movement relative to the news background.

I think bigest reason was locked situation of bitcoin and ethereum. Basically fees raised too high, and transactions were too slow, people lost bit trust on coins and it affected price overall.
