ASIC's are still the bomb for BTC if you have enough- IMHO by far the safest/secure coin to
hold and if you mine in a good private pool it will pay out every day.
I managed to get only 2 of the butterfly labs USB 2.0 miners and the hash rate is insane.
What I wanna know though is- how can I program a ASIC/have it run a Linux script?
I was thinking shallot, getting really quick onion URLs. I think there's possibly more money to be made from that than mining itself.
Anyone tried this??

--Freelance programmers/web developers with experience in PHP, Ajax, JQuery and interface design contact for many projects. Payment preferably in BTC, but will pay as desired. PayPal gift only- taxation problem--
--- Cash for BTC in UK 24/7 ---
----No longer wiring cash sums above 1,000 in any day to any one account-----
------UK Registered Limited Liability Company for sale- established over 6 years ago, free to rename as desired. Contact for further details.------

I've tried but it really depends on how efficiently you're able to move those "AltCoins" to the Coin or Fiat your interested in....

Check out  - http://www.coinchoose.com/index.php for a list of AltCoins and their relation to the Big Daddy (Bitcoin) and you should get a good idea of what is possible...

Also, https://www.multipool.us is a Great Pool to help mine the most profitable coin of the moment...

Let me know what you think.
