Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

i'll sell at 10k php off if you buy all.

4k php if you buy half.

smallest increment i'll sell will be 100k php worth.

i'm resetting my password on coinbase, don't have my usa phone with me, so takes 48-72 hours. at which point i will just cashout to my bank. so if you want some at a small discount, contact me asap and lets trade.

i'm in quezon city.

we created a simple site to calculate TAG or BTC against multiple currencies including PHP...also added an API to use directly in apps or sites:

http://vskype.com

API for BTC or TAG to PHP

Added API to vskype.com for BTC and TAG across multiple currencies - can now integrate that into any app or site.

http://vskype.com/api/btc/php
{
BTC: 1,
USD: 600.3,
error: false,
status: 200
}

http://vskype.com/api/tag/php
{
TAG: 1,
BTC: 0.00048933876079885,
error: false,
status: 200
}

Feel free to use, and give suggestions to make better.

Who's interested in a dual miner 2? I need a minimum of 50+ units. Price will be Php 3500 or 77 USD payable in BTC; this will be another group buy, but I'm interested only if everyone is local. (okay, international is fine as long as they pay FedEx shipping.)

Hello,

Does anyone knows how to setup good bitcoin miner rig here in my place near manila. My budget is more like PHP130k, do you think I can get 300-600 GH/s on my budget?

Smiley

I suggest trying out a few of the Antminer S1's (I think you can get more than 600ghs with your budget, 4 S1's maybe)... Their prices have significantly gone down since last month... Add some more money and you can get a 1TH Antminer S2!
The only thing you need to worry about these is the power draw. Mahal ng kuryente sa Pilipinas!

Thank you sir but why prices were gone down? what happened?

Because they won't be making as much now compared to when they were released.. Bitmain also prices their units depending on the current exchange rate I think. They are priced enough to ROI in a few months. Always upgrade miners!

The S2 ($3499 i think) from what I've read has half of the power draw compared to six S1 units (which would give you the same amount of GHs)...

I suggest you use your money for group buys and hosting deals. That way you dont calculate electricity costs, and you can always sell the miner, or keep it for yourself at the end of the leasing period. Usually, by the time your lease ends (common duration is 90days), you wouldve made a little bit of profit (depending on how many shares/units/GHs you buy)...

But honestly, you really have to spend A LOT if you want to make profit off of mining. If you get cheap on mining, you wont make anything at all. My 30Gh/s USB miners which cost more than 1BTC at the time will never ROI, so I just have it running 24/7 on Solopool.com and maybe hit the jackpot one day...

BTC price is down! Maybe you can also buy some coins, because Bitmain accepts BTC as payment, when BTC prices increase again, technically youre spending less.

It's probably someone who pasted it into Google Translate, made a bunch of posts in different sub-country forums or threads... Gridseeds still available, first group buy was missed, second one is until the end of this week. I've got 15 units incoming so far.

oh boy, I can't wait for my loan to get approved so I can buy it all. I'm supposed to get 496k PHP one of these days. (500k PHP less processing fees.)

(Dabs? You took a bank loan? Well, they're all offering me one, so I filled up the form.)

Hi there! Welcome to the club. With the tips you are asking just treat bitcoin as a business venture. Don't risk what you can't afford to lose. Also you need to study the trends in ex. - the bitcoin mining technology, world economy, central bank statements regarding bitcoin. And remember to have fun.  Cheesy
