Hi all,

So I've had a S5 for ages. One of the boards seems little bit iffy. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't. At the moment it spends most of the time not working, so only one half actually mines.

Below is a screenshot of the miner status screen and I've also attached the Kernel Log if that even helps.

My question is, can this be fixed relatively easily and cheaply? Is there a part that needs replacing? Or is it a more hazzle than its worth?

From my understanding it looks like something to do with reading a signal from the board? I've tried 2 corsair power supplies and an EVGA power supply so I don't think thats the issue. Only one board has a red light, the other does not.

Cheers

There is really no cheap and easy fix for it. Since the s5 is a very outdated piece of tech I wouldnt waste any money trying to repair it.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
