This was some what of an educational experience dealing with Ehtereum contracts. At first I was not sure if this was a safe experiment to conduct or not, but after reading though the smart contract text - i did not see any thing that looked like it would drain my wallet. And another person commented that it was safe. But still I used a wallet that did not have very much funds in it. I had the gas set at 21 Gwei and the gas limit at 80145, and it cost me 50 cents to run this transaction. I am now owner of 5000 Pussy Coins. And I got to experiment on how Ethereum Contracts work etc. So I would say it was worth the 50 cents.

I think this is not safe, this is like a way to cheat the participants. Even if it involves security issues, your account may be compromised.
This is just my personal opinion.
