Is there any information out there on exactly how much CHICKEN is in a chicken nugget? I'm guessing about 10% in the US... different for other countries. I was talking with a guy last night who was telling me about the Canadian chicken nuggets - they are 3 times the price but the McDonalds employee he was talking with explained how much hormone, water and salt is pumped into "American" chickens... yuck

(chicken nuggets here are a kids' food, so it's usually aerated, 15%+ water and "flavoring," with rib meat, and loaded with preservatives [even though they're usually sold frozen] - but it's often <$3 a pound. Who says we don't love our kids? There are "real" chicken nuggets in some areas, I've heard -- maybe out in Greenwich or something) Irrefutably, best way to prepare chicken is chicken marsala. Quick and easy to make at home. |

Though if they were, it would actually be the healthiest thing in them besides corn and chicken.
