Wow, we had to consider the possibility that things might not be rosy, but I wasn't expecting things to be this bad with the units.   Thanks for your efforts so far on my / our behalf anyway Waldo.

If the intention is to hope for a BTC price hike, then putting them online hashing at a lower rate now is an option.
Not sure what the electricity costs would be.
I'll make some suggestions that may or may not be popular.
Maybe if we all donated a small sum to buy a unit(s) that currently work to generate enough revenue to pay for the electricity, No idea how practical that is in terms of costs etc.
Or simply donate a small percentage of our payout to pay for the electricity to get them hashing I accept this might not be popular, I'm just trying to think outside the box.

I have 12 x 1MH Titans,   if it meant getting these these hashing even at a lower rate, what If I / We volunteered one of those units and if everyone else considered doing the same to generate enough revenue to pay for the electricity costs to get them online does something like this work as a solution and what would the figures be.

The idea being that if there is to be a jump in BTC price, we would have accrued some by then and make back our losses.
If we sit and wait for the BTC price we have to start mining then, plus we will be competing with a lot more miners scrambling to get on board.
If we try to get hashing now, we may accrue a significant amount of coins to really benefit from a price increase.
If the Titans are not as expected, what effect will this have on BTC and how can we profit from it.
One 'benefit' might be that a lot of people might jump ship meaning the difficulty may not rise as much as anticipated.
If we can get hashing now, we may be able to mine longer and benefit more from a future BTC price increase,

 Cry

Maybe we should be investing in a solar farm, to pay for our electricty costs. that way we can run miners until they fall to pieces and not have to worry about electricity costs.
Significant capital outlay of course but...we could hire out the facility for miner hosting.
