How to get bitcoin adress from mac client to windows client

Wanna move my wallet from a mac to a windows machine.

How do i do this? i wanna keep my btc-adress.

Can i just copy the wallet.dat file from mac to windows?

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

That should work, but I've never tried it.

Once you've got the wallet working in Windowes, whatever you do with the Mac, be very sure that nobody else will ever be able to recover the old wallet.dat from that hard drive or you may suddenly see your bitcoins vanish out of your wallet.
