Sifcoin: chain in sha-3 candidate-finalis-win function Blake=>BMW=>Groestl=>JH=>Keccak=>Skein Quarkcoin: 9 rounds of hashing from 6 hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein) CPU-Coin: whirlpool based https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlpool_%28cryptography%29 (at least that's what the OP claims, wiki says nothing of the above hash functions) Maybe someone can clear up if Quarkcoin is a direct clone of Sifcoin or had some changes in the algorithm, if CPU-Coin's algo is Whirlpool and if they are all the same or not... If someone could post some nodes, that would be great too as I only have 1 connection and no blocks. edit @ post below: lol

No sign of Whirlpool.

That's quite the fail then. edit: If the hashrate of this coin grew close to 51% of Quarkcoin, could the blockchain take over?

Noob here, but how do you mine with the qt in win? I created the .conf file and placed it appdata\cpucoin folder and finally, the qt client connected. My cpu is now staying at 100% but I see no results Am I doing something wrong?

No, you are doing it totally correct. You have to be patient, you will find some blocks soon.

I find lots of blocks due to not getting any blocks downloaded from the two nodes OP posted... Could have been nice if OP had not lied about the origin and algo of the coin but meh, back to QRK. No, Quarkcoin has been checkpointed.
Ofcourse, I'm such a noob.

I figured here is a better blocksource: addnode=92.73.213.186 addnode=192.241.186.105
