Any one used https://changelly.com/ before?
Yes, back in the days, I used it (few times). It used to be good (on that time) but in the long run, it turned out to be a bad option for exchanging coins (due to amount of recent complaints, simple search on "Scam Accusations" section would give you the whole picture).

and How you can trust it?
You can't. I suggest to look for an alternative instead (I no longer trust them).

You can try https://shapeshift.io/ they are pretty old than changelly also I have used them more times than any other alternatives and never had any issues.

Its better to use trading platform if you are trying to exchange large amount of coins because you might loss huge on fees when exchanging coins in these platforms.

Things have changed, there are some serious complaints about shapeshift issues in its bitcointalk thread. It sounds as unreliable as changelly.

I have made a lot of exchanges with different coins on changelly before and i never got any issues with them, the only problem there is that they charge unexxpected fee to process exchange through their platform, however i would still say changelly is more cheaper than regular wallet like coinbase, btc.com but as your topic is to know trusted exchange service, i think we have guarantee for our coins safety when it comes to a huge amount, whether it is shapeshift, or changelly, you should exchange in splits, not to send whole amount in single transaction if funds are huge

Hi,

Yes, I just used it 2 days ago to be exact. You have to create an account first before you can exchange your coins. Actually its my first time to used them and I've been reading a lot of reviews and its seem they got a good rating as compare to Shapeshit, I mean Shapeshift which the fee's are ridiculous high. I exchanged my Ethereum to Bitcoin. I was nervous at first but then I go and went with the transaction. Of course I double checked everything before sending it out. I did it when I was about to sleep, so I don't know how long the transaction takes place, although my Ethereum transaction (with 50 GWEI) was immediately, I was worried about the conversion and the deposit on my account. But Lo and Behold, when I wake up changelly confirmed that my transaction is done and when I opened my wallet its already there. Grin. So I can vouch that they are legit.

Edit: My transaction is .5 Ethereum only.

Shapeshift charges more If I'm not mistaken.

I found it is one of the worst here in the forum but some of my friends using changelly for the long time but they did not get the any issue as of now bro. Recently he changed around 800 digibyte with the ripple he had.
May I know what is the exact issue they are doing for their consumers. If you share that instead of these kind of report link by the user it may clear to use bro. Thanks for the assistance.

I've used it a couple times. Apart from one or two instances the transactions have gone through within an hour of me sending the coins to be exchanged. Overall, it should be trustworthy for small amounts under 0.1 BTC. Shouldn't be too big of a problem but keep in mind you're going to be charged a fee + transaction fees + a worse rate than market. So the estimated coins will probably be inaccurate.

People that have problems usually deal with large amounts, in which case changelly seems to hold the funds for quite a while.

If you have large amounts of cryptos to trade, you should never use instant exchangers. Use an actual exchange instead. You'll get better spreads, be charged less fees, and you don't need to deal with less trustworthy counterparties.

I bought 5$ worth of ethereum using my bitcoins two months ago and i didn`t have any issues with changelly.
It was user friendly and the transaction was fast and relatively cheap.Last month i saw that people here were  complaining about the changelly transactions being very slow, but the blockchain was stuck at that time.
Anyway,i wouldn`t recommend using it for big buy/sell transactions, but i like the consept.

Of course it has higher than average fees, it's a convenience service. They allow you to trade crypto currencies without the need of registering and verification, where they themselves need their cut as well.

I use the Coinomi app to sweep all my Bitcoin addresses to obtain the fork coins, and from there use either Changelly or Shapeshift to convert these fork coins to Bitcoin, and it works flawlessly.

The only 'downside' might be that it can take a while in some cases, but it's all worth it. It avoids you having to register and make use if shitcoin exchanges, so it's all good. But as said above as well, don't use larger amounts.

It's a convenience service that works fine with smaller amounts, but don't push it too far.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.
