I bought this crappy software for 1400$ FOR A 3 MONTH LICENSE (MOST PROFESSIONAL ONE) when bitcoin was like 17000$.

Only to find out that:

= Their forum is dead. Even closed forum has no valuable information. Many "guides" with promising end were promised years ago without any advance.
= Their bot doesn't make any money which is absolutely ridicolous for this kind of money. There are so many professional companies who would rent you a VERY profitable bot for FOREX or other markets, that actually make %% daily for MUCH LESS. So I expected at least the same.
= MOST IMPORTANT and I claimed refund based on this
I saw the exchange I'm registered at (CEX) in the list of supported markets. BUT IT DIDN'T WORK! Stephan (probably the owner) told me it's not haasbot problem, but CEX. In the end it was only my problem, because I waited a few weeks to see that obviously problem is LONG KNOWN, but they are ready to sell the bot, but not ready to refund or acknowledge their mistakes: which is to inform buyers that something is not working for MONTHS!

I asked for AT LEAST a partial refund. No reply for a week.

So here goes this review. GOOD LUCK!

I hate that company.  I had a very bad experience with them as well.

The software has a very steep learning curve, and their support sucks.  I asked for a refund as soon as I took my first look at the product and their attitude was "sorry, we've got your money, it's ours now."

I highly don't recommend them.

the thing about trading bot prices is that there is a simple supply and demand factor. there aren't that many bot providers(!) out there so the supply is limited so they can offer any high price they want which is most of the times unfair in my opinion. and most of them are not really profitable.

check out https://github.com/askmike/gekko it is an open source (free) trading bot. I have never used it myself because it is JavaScript but I have heard good reviews about it.

thanks for posting your review about this bot here. and if you used Gekko, post your reviewed about that too.

Ahh that is sad to hear. Seems like you wasted some money. I hope you get a refund, but by the way you desribe it seems not very likely that you will have this luck. In regards to bots my opinion is there is no golden path, depending on the market phase, the volume etc. one bot works well, the other does not .. etc and when market dynamics change this can differ quite fast.

Good Luck Andrey!

AndreyEf,

Sorry you're having a tough time using our software.  We are in the process of making it easier to use for novice traders who are looking to expand their trading abilities.  However, there's never any guarantee any partially automated trade strategies will always make you money, especially when you're dealing with a highly volatile market such as crypto.

We cannot control new restrictions or circumvent the limitations that exchanges place on their platform or their API.  Our current documentation and website are being revamped to keep pace with all of the ever changing conditions.  Our intentions are never to mislead our customers.

I've taken down your complaints and you have my word you will see positive changes based off of them.

Thanks,
HaasOnline Software

You had the restrictions you HID from me. Would I know about them: I would not buy.

You don't have a bot, you have a platform to build a bot, all your bots don't make money. The forum is dead. Anyone who buys your bot is ridiculous for it to work you MUST know a lot in algorithms, etc... People who know the stuff would never buy this garbage. It's to fool "the fools".

And for the price I saw a bot with clear trading history up-to-date! So you can see how it worked months before you buy. Do you have anything like that OR would that unveil even more, that this software is a rip-off?

My reviews stay, no taking down.

You're right the forum isn't a very good tool for us and it's going to be phased out removed, we've begun making training courses, video tutorials, and putting a lot of work into revamping our technical documentation.  Thank you for helping us to realize that some of our other novice traders may be having similar problems as you with mastering with our robust platform.

We make absolutely no warranty or claims of profitability.

I did not mean take down, as in remove your review. I meant that I made notes of your complaints and plan to actively remedy the majority of them.

Looking over your history with us it would be unfair to put you on blast for your actions and would ruin the trust that many of our customers put in us.  Just let it be known that we won't pay to silence your false accusations and idle threats in exchange for payment.

Cheers,

I doubt that you'll be able to get any sort of refund.

The profitability part is a no brainer. First of all you should have read other people's review on this, and even if they were positive doesn't mean that this bot will make you a guaranteed profit. Otherwise, everyone would be using this bot for trading.

They won't offer you a refund solely because of the fact that they can easily claim that in their terms and conditions they have stated that the software is provided as is with no claims of guaranteed profits, which makes sense.

Not sure what the CEX problem is about, but if they knew the problem beforehand for months then they should have at least stated when you bought the bot.

I do feel sorry for you though, being out of pocket for around $2k is tough dude. These bots charge a lot of money.

I was considering "testing" Haas bot with their beginner license but seeing how their support is lacking, I will stay away!

= Their forum is dead. Even closed forum has no valuable information.

This is something very bad, if any clients need any information or help, they will not have it because they are not active in the forum

= Their bot doesn't make any money...

Can you show print screen of your bot's performance? so that we can analyze the results

Stephan (probably the owner) told me it's not haasbot problem, but CEX. In the end it was only my problem, because I waited a few weeks to see that obviously problem is LONG KNOWN...

if you post print screen of the performance of your bot, it would be easier to find out who is right

I asked for AT LEAST a partial refund. No reply for a week.

I think it's because of this:

"Stephan (probably the owner) told me it's not haasbot problem, but CEX."

First of all you should have read other people's review on this...

it is not always easy to find reviews on the internet about something, sometimes you search so much you get tired and using the first option you find, in the case of OP I saw the site of this bot and it has words that would convince many people .. So I do not blame OP. Now we need to know who is really to blame in this case.

I'd be upset as well, not a cheap bot lack of support or response does not help the end user any even if not utilized to best extent

The thing is that the robots are not a golden goose itself, but only a mean of trading - that is what author should realize.

But the unavailability of one of the exchanges is not a nice thing if you pay for this $1800.

I understand developer because most probably the issue is on the exchange side, but developer uses an API of exchange which is free, make some manipulations with it, and SELL it.

That's why the developer should refund - simply because you took money for something that doesn't work. Yes, it's not because of you, but it is you who took money.

The solution here I think is to reach an agreement with an exchange to use their API for such purposes, pay them a little royalty, but transfer responsibility for API unavailability to them.

Or insure against these risks ))

I hope for mutually beneficial resolving of this issue!
