Hello all,

I am looking to store ETH in a wallet, what would you suggest is the best and safest way to do this? I am considering buying a trezor as well for extra protection. I am simply looking to hodl ETH.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Buy trezor to keep your ethereum safe, it is the best wallet to store offline.
myetherwallet is a good wallet online too, just keep your private keys safe and never forget it.
i am holding ethereum token too for a long time and believing to the capability of this coin that sooner or later 10.000 USD will be the value of it.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I'm also recommend buy a hardware wallet (ledger nano s) and use myetherwallet to manage your token, remember wallet security is most important for us (crypto investor)

Myetherwallet is good as long as you don't give your private key to anyone.
You must be very carefull because you might accidentally mistaken your pk as your public address when copying.
So you should keep your private key seperately with your public key/ethereum address.

MyEtherWallet uniquely. The security of wallets, I think, is the same for everyone. It all depends on how and where you will store your private key.

ledger is one of the best wallets, myetherwallet is another free wallet.
of course I would advise you to wear ledger because of its excellent level of security.
electroneum was the best wallet before, but when a hacker attack made me prefer myetherwallet as his free wallet.

Hardware wallet is the best choice for me in terms of security of my cryptocurrencies but it'll cost you a few bucks. Ledger nano is very easy to use. Myetherwallet is okay but is careful there are a lot of phishing site that looks exactly like it.

MyEtherWallet and an offline hardware wallet. I use a Ledger Nano S. More and more exchanges are being hacked, so it's important to store anything you're not trading offline somewhere.

I think that the best option for storing Ether tokens is MyetherWallet. Of course this service is not 100% safe, because I believe that there are no secure systems that can not be opened, but the risk is really minimal

Apart from Trezor and Ledger, I think MyEtherWallet is the safest way to keep your ETH and ERC20 tokens together. The only consideration for you to keep it safely is that never ever share your private keys.

I think if you are just experimenting with Crypto just use my Ether Wallet, if you are serious and you are going to store quite a lot of crypto, invest into a hardware wallet. Better to be safe than sorry and they are not that expensive.

I wear a wallet that other people use a lot. MEW is a simple wallet that is easy to understand many beginners. I never had problems with mew, try maybe you can use to save your eth.

I usually use MEW with a Metamask. I think this is a fairly reliable way to store my modest cryptocurrency assets. If the amount was larger, I would have bought myself some cold wallet, but now I do not see the point.

Safest to store
1) Paper
2) Trezor/Ledger
3) Ethereum Wallet/Software
4) Metamask
5) Mew

Yeah, These are some main options for storing ETH.

I think if you has less than 10 ETH => Just use: Mew or Ethereum Wallet/Software
If you have more than 10 ETH, you should by a hard wallet/ cold wallet, such as Trezor/Ledger

Believe me, even when 0.1 eth is stolen, there is not much to enjoy in this situation.
Personally, I use a MEW and store data on paper and in an encrypted file on a flash drive. In addition, I add extra characters to the private key.

I use MyEtherWallet until I'm happy. Say there are wallets safer, but I don't see any problems with MyEtherWallet. The main thing to observe the basic safety rules.

It all depends on your caution. You can also store your coins on Myetherwallet But if you really are not careful, and repeatedly moss light your private key. Then you need a different purse.
