There is a ripple giveaway thread, but only for people registered a long time ago.  Would the Ripple giveaway people think to run a small promotion to allow newer users a chance at a small amount of ripple?  PM'ing the giveaway account with this thread link also.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Ripple is still in beta so everyone is an "early adopter".  Checkout www.ripplegiveaway.com/giveaways.html for all the latest XRP giveaways.  In addition, XRP are about $0.01 each so, it's not tough to get your hands on plenty for very little.
If your ignore button isn't glowing, you're doing it wrong.
