The total weight of all the ants on Earth is about the same as the weight of all the humans.
Ants also outnumber us a million to one!
They also can lift weight twice their size!
If they ever wanted to turn on us, they could just pick us all up and throw us in the ocean.

Total business revenues of all publicly traded companies
is aprox equal to the revenues of all small business.

That means trillions of USD.

Case in point - case study about SkepsiDyne  -
(http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=8167.0)
a guy made a pitch to investors and raised a bunch of green cash on bitcoin-stock-exchange to run his business..
He pays weekly dividents - averaging return on investment 70% APR (not counting equity)
Weekly disclosures.
Never mind if this is sustainable long term.
Never mind that it is about bitcoin.
Think big.
Every small business = owner's sweat equity + capital.
Imagine broad public had an opportunity to invest in every corner store bodega.
And small business had to present a competitive case every week to raise more capital.
No merrill/morgan bastards and their ilk meddling required.

I think this is quite revolutionary.
For example think about Michael Milken's invention of junk bonds market - now worth hundreds of billion USD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_bonds)

Discuss.
