Ethfinex is a community & information hub for Ethereum-based trading & discussion. Ethfinex was designed to facilitate learning, discussion and analysis of ERC20 projects & ICO's, whilst offering access to the most advanced trading platform for Ethereum ERC20 tokens.
 
Ethfinex’s vision is to create a community, resource, and information hub for Ethereum traders, developers and enthusiasts. It will feature community-driven discussion forums, a user reputation system and an efficient content auto discovery & filtering mechanism. Ethfinex will simultaneously provide access to the most advanced, highly liquid, and secure exchange trading platform available.

We believe fully decentralized models for exchange are not yet mature or scalable. To accelerate the development of on-blockchain exchange the Ethfinex platform will pioneer a hybrid decentralized architecture, allowing decentralized exchanges to plug into it and trade with Ethfinex customers as well as each other.

Democratic & Transparent Voting Mechanism For Token Listings
We’re pleased to finally unveil the first stage of decentralised community governance on Ethfinex.

As of May 15th, Ethfinex users will be able to vote, directly from their Ethereum wallets, for the tokens which they wish to see traded on Ethfinex. Votes are completed using cloned ‘Nectar Voting Tokens’, issued to Ethfinex users in proportion to the NEC they own.

At its core Ethfinex is built around its community of users. Traders who use Ethfinex will be responsible for contributing to its vision and development, subsequently earning a stake in its performance and (potential) success. Beyond just this, however, we’ve created Ethfinex as a tool for democratising the decisions that go into an exchange — fee structures, token listings, revenue decisions — to create a platform that is truly for the community, by the community.
