Hi everyone,

I have changed the country from UK to EU one as per https://www.coinbase.com/verifications/documents/change_country and was verified. Now I am trying to buy some crypto with my EUR debit card. I have also changed local currency from GBP to EUR in the settings/preferences.

But it doesn't let me buy in EUR, it still shows GBP as the only option. I haven't noticed this first time and was stung by a conversion change (~3%) from my EUR card as well as Coinbase charge (~3.99%). Not the cheapest way to buy, but I currently can't deposit using other methods ie SEPA etc. Is there any way to avoid being changed at least by EUR card issuer?

Is it possible to change currency as well as country?

Thanks
