thread title should link to most recent page

can the title of threads link to the most recent posting rather than the original posting? especially in the 'show new replies to your posts' section. I rarely use links to the first page. links to the last page would be more useful.

When you read something you want to start with the beginning...

take your mouse all the way to the right of a table row, the small clickable icon links to the last post.

perhaps then, the 'most recent page' button could be moved to the left side of the post title, and made bigger.

i think this would make it easier to use on smaller screens.

Why would you click on a thread just to read the last page?

The first page or two are the only useful ones to read, any further than that is usually people bickering or something other topic entirely.

I find some value in reading the most recent posts. perhaps others do too. it would be a simple change to move the most recent post button from the right to the left.

Good god no, this is completely counterintuitive. Are you Asian or Arabic by any chance?

Things that happen first are to the left, things that happen later are to the right. Thus the last posts symbol on the right.
