I think there are a couple of good reasons why people invest in ICOs. The number one reason why people invest in ICO is that the project they are investing is really a great one and they cannot afford to lose the opportunity to buy the coins while still offered with bonuses. The second reason, and this is the best scenario, is that they are totally convinced of the project and they buy the coins to actually use them as designed. But of course, on top of all these reasons, you still need to carefully choose your ICOs.

I don't think if it survive in the long run but i think it's pedepend the project what they release. Anyways, i actually also invest in ICO's, YES,!  I know it is risky but before i invest, i will check their whitepapper and also their social media if they have a Member that can handle their project to maintain the value in the market, but its so hard to find where is worth to invest, but i see it positivly because its part of the game.

ICO is at risk but also really give great results. during the get over it so even though it's not a huge risk becoming a problem to get the profit doubled from the ICO. Indeed wherever that has big results certainly has big risks.
