I think if bitcoin rose quite steadily and slowly people wouldn't look at the best cryptocurrency with an "evil eye". Going forward, do you think a slow steady rise, rather than a speedy erratic rise is good for bitcoin to get "accepted" all over the world? The sudden rise seems to scare people and  governments.
well this is what I think of the first, this very fast cryptocurrency movement makes the government think again to accept Bitcoin if price bitcoin down because the negative impact of the movement of Bitcoin is very high and can make a person becomes crazier and make assets decrease

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think the market price value of bitcoin will rise soon. Just hoping that the rise of bitcoin will continue to go on the upward trend.

Slow and steady is more preferred to keep people from thinking it as a speculative bubble. However, this isn't nearly a reason for the government policies to get loose and be more accepted by the public. Bitcoin adoption needs more time; yes it has been 9 years in the space but in retrospect, internet took decades to be fully incorporated in our society

That’s right, it should have climbed at a rate commensurate with its development. It should easily be capable of handling every new influx of users at every growth step.

Of course, that can’t really happen because no one is really in charge of bitcoins direction. Even when power players do get together, like at conferences I’ve attended, they never really come up with any solutions. They simply bicker with each other, spend all of their time arguing their position and never listen to other points of view.

I went to a conference in Las Vegas where Patrick Byrne (of Overstock fame) was in attendance. There was a collection of little technofags that were chasing him around the conference begging for VC money to start their pet project. They all looked so stupid chasing him that I was embarrassed for them. All I could think of while watching them make their pitch was, Bitcoin isn’t ready for that you stupid fool.

I also have heard this through some rumors that price of bitcoin will be high again till the end of this month or maybe at the end of February but after a couple of months bitcoin will start rising in price, right now it is time to buy so that in future they will be able to hold, sell and get profit. Market is demanding bitcoin because now people are using bitcoin for buying goods and etc so price is going to increase for sure.

Possible bitcoin For now it is not certain how it will rise or even fall. Yes, it's true there are so many who look to bitcoin, even the government and private sector also have shares in it, but I think this will not really affect the bitcoin bet for now, so bitcoin will last as long as nobody is manipulating .. .

a solid or a slow and steady rise is always preferred for bitcoin. it has been the way price went up from $150 to $1200 or even $2000. but that is not the way adoption works. many people are staying out scared of bitcoin just because someone said it is a bubble back when price was $400 then repeated it when it was $600 and so on. when they realize it is a lie they start FOMO buying bitcoin at any price and that shoots the value up.
not to mention the mainstream adoption that happened in 2017 which brought in a lot of new investors/users/merchants. and that naturally shoots the price up fast.
you can't say if it is good or bad. it is what it is.

We can not predict when bitcoin prices will go up and down. So many people are surprised because the bitcoin price is down, Last year bitcoin prices increased dramatically, and reached 250 million more.

For now, your prediction is wrong because the price keeps on decreasing and I just experience the lowest price of bitcoin this week. Good thing I haven't converted my money to BTC yet. I heard that if we can wait for 1-2 months, bitcoins price might recover for about 20%. I am praying that it will happen because I really need to convert some of my BTC by that time. A slow steady rise will be great for bitcoin instead of sudden ups and downs. It broke the heart of those who hold a lot of bitcoin.

I kind of felt the same way here. It was beyond my expectations that bitcoin reached 20k last december but what was more surprising was the pace it took to get there. Many aren't expecting that as well. I personally would've preferred that btc took a much slower pace but we're recovering
Well excuse me being anal but the point is BITCOIN never ever reached 20$k in fiat, it only hit 19500$

Bitcoin haven't good information to strong dump 13,14k, i'm still waiting good news :3

Ya it will happen in few days.Untill that just hold your bitcoin. It's seems to be reach more than 15,000$ in very short period.
So your expectations will happen and to get profit in a pump you must hold the bitcoin.Holding is the only thing to get more dollars from bitcoin.

It had been an apple of the eye from that rise.
A number of my friends have started to have knowledge about bitcoin because of that fast rise which is questionable.

Now it went back. This is the time it will rise slowly and we will really feel the increase in all the hard work and patience that we have done.
It might be good for some who have sold at that time. But not to the holders who keeps on believing there is something more about bitcoin and what it could offer.

Yes, it is better for bitcoin to slowly rise than erratic rise because there is a saying " the higher you rise, the higher you fall. The real growth or organic grow should be slow and not erratic. This will also minimize losses specially for the beginners.
Well the the higher you rise, the higher you fall will still stay true even if you like had an organic rise in prices

I think the bitcoin will continue to fall, as Korea has not made the decision to officially shut down the bitcoin trading floors in their country. Korea has a large number of investors. If the Korean government decides to close the bitcoin trading floor. bitcoin market will significantly reduce the amount of Korean investors. and bitcoin prices will decrease.

I think it will rise again and faster if it's not then it will fall. Every crypto currency are same. If it's rise slowly people will realise that investment in bitcoin will risky.

It needs more time. Bitcoin is just pulling together after the big rise it had in the recent weeks. Give it more time and it will be right on track.
This^^^^

BITCOIN fell a fair bit due to the recent FUDing by USA, South Korea and so on

I think bitcoin is still on the process of stabilizing the market price value and definitely it will rise soon but on a gradual phase. Just hoping that the rise of bitcoin will continue to go on the upward trend on the coming weeks.

yeah, If bitcoin is dropping now a days its natural. In virtual world it happens that many times the price of currencies drop dawn and goes up . People also removed their money immediately and it also affect on their value. So I would say Don't get panic . Bitcoin will definitely rise soon. It will stabilise but it may need some time. So no need to worry about it. I think we have to wait till march end then picture will clear.

Bitcoin does unclear things. Now it's not up to growth, it would have stopped falling.

No, the problem in here is that bitcoin had a drastic change on the price on December, and that was not natural my friend..

Just look at the charts, and tell me.. Do you really think that a "pump" from $7,800 to more than $19,500 in just one week and two days are "normal"?

It is not, and that was the main thing of why a lot of whales decided to take profit in there.

So what do we have now?... Of course, we are on a death market right now, but it is still normal just like it was before (one month ago i mean, maybe)

Yes, very drastic high run and now very drastic run down. Its not healthy mate.
I think its better to slow but sure. Now slow up run but the price is stronger to keep its value.

Exactly you made the point . In my past post i was telling the same thing . Slow growth would not made us to fear even governments least bother about that . All of sudden growth made lots of panic among community as well as government . This time i wish bitcoin has to grow slowly . Because bitcoin has to surive lot of year by giving financial independence to people.
