2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ?

This year's beginning definitely has not been good for cryptocurrencies. Atleast for Bitcoin we can say.
Although the last year's ending was a great gain for almost all the coins but as 2018 started most of coins were in decline and it has been the same way until now. We cant really say what is going to happen later this year because there are still 11 months for the year to end and cryptocurrencies could move in any direction in this time. I do get the same feeling that cryptocurrencies will fall this year, mostly Bitcoin as the way  it was going till now. From $19k it has reached to mere $10k which is really bad for crypto. All of us would definitely be happy if BTC crosses $16k again.

it is just the beginning of the year to say bitcoin and other altcoins to decline. growing fast/high is not always good it should be done step by step and experience hardship a long the way to survive just like bitcoin through this years. ups and downs is always a part of cryptocurrency so when it go up expect it to go down.

This will be the best year for Bitcoin and every year will be the best year. Cryptocurrency is going to be adopted by everybody, the quicker the better. If countries ban it, people and companies will move to those places where it's allowed.

I think it start on the wrong "leg" until now, but it will get better. We are only in the start of 2018

Right. If you base it from what's going on right now, then it may seem that this year could be a forgettable year for crypto. But if you look back, that's not the case. Btc was in a decline jan 2017, and though the end of that year wasn't as good as expected, we still hit 20k usd which is really faster than most of us expected. So who knows what 2018 will bring but i'm always feeling positive with bitcoin and crypto

in my opinion it is likely to rise again for cryptocurrency because of the long period of time and the increase can not be guessed because of its temporary nature but if we look from the past that cryptocurrency always rises in the final month if at the beginning of the year usually an unstable decline so I am sure in last July the rise of all cryptocurrency so I am sure for the future.

in my opinion it is likely to rise again for cryptocurrency because of the long period of time and the increase can not be guessed because of its temporary nature but if we look from the past that cryptocurrency always rises in the final month if at the beginning of the year usually an unstable decline so I am sure in last July the rise of all cryptocurrency so I am sure for the future.

The beginning of the year is not very optimistic for bitcoin. There is a lot of hype around btc, problems with Lightning Network affect the price. Now it's hard to predict what will happen at the end of the year, but I think it will be a good year for cryptocurrencies.

I can say that it will be a good year for crypto currency. It's only January, the start of the year. There are still remaining eleven months for this so don't lose hope. Stay positive. If you're disapponted with the price today, then change your strategy or improve it. There is always another way.

2018 is another good year for bitcoin. The fluctuation in bitcoin price we have now is a usual thing and it is just for a moment. The speculation is that bitcoin will hit 25k USD before the end of the third quarter of this year. For all bitcoiner, this is right to invest more to enable you gain more when the price go up. 2018 will be great!

I have my own opinion
I think this year is the year for altcoin, not bitcoin
I saw some altcoin, at the beginning of this month increased very rapidly
and the most famous is Ethereum, Ethereum began to be discussed, and many argue this year is the year of glory for Ethereal.

2017 was the start of mass adoption. With adoption comes pain points. The January malaise should be a temporary period and volumes can pick up again during the 2nd half of the year.
Or I might be wrong and this time will be the start of a downward spiral. I do still believe in the potential of blockchain tech to improve the lives of people around the world.
Imagine if universal basic income can be implemented using blockchain, there are several other use cases for the tech and these will ensure that cryptos will always have a role to play in the future.

Everyone is a speculator nowadays, but there will come a day we look back and be glad we took part in the next step of advancement for mankind by investing in the technology.

Why do you believe this? if you observe, you will observe that more people to know bitcoin and these people will buy bitcoin, knowing that the number of bitcoin is not infinite, it will cause an increase price as more people buy bitcoins... many analysts predict a increase in prices of bitcoin and these analysts are making huge prediction for this year and prediction for the next 4 years,

The speculation is that bitcoin will hit 25k USD before the end of the third quarter of this year.
