Chats in gambling is a good idea and a way to build relationships with fellow players.
As long as there are no signs of cheating say on a poker site, then I think this is a advantage to the players.

Sometimes I felt that chats are so annoying when the people chat like nonsense that is why I don't like to chat while gambling but normally I would like to chat more and more while getting opportunities with new people.

At times, some evil minded people use chat for their own benefit. As they know the people who are at gambling site and chat are the ones who have bitcoins and money for investment, they advertise in the chat of some investment opportunity and try to convince the gamblers to join it.  Those investment opportunity can be a scam too.

This is something very annoying in gambling chats.  These chats should be strictly moderated and anyone trying to misuse them , they should be banned without warning.  Gambling chats are for the purpose of discussion of gambling games and experience and they should not be allowed for advertise ponzi schemes.

Not see much in gambling chat even i use it. But in some trading site there are administrator who control how gambling chat is for everyone. Maybe there are some administrator or moderator who keep aware for people who chat out of topic on some gambling sites.

Thats why there are chat mods on a certain chatbox to prevent or do remove those spams because it cant really be avoided that there are
really some users who do only register just to spam out their scammy ponzi sites and other related things but as a knowledgeable person and a
gambler you would surely just ignore those things.

If every gamblers are too generous on giving tips and sharing their strategies that would be a good one but if they are just talking about their winnings, then I guess it would be hard to communicate on that chat box. On a gambling site, its hard to know whether they are saying the truth or not, so better not to believe on them 100% and don't rely on that but this is indeed a good idea.

Basically, everything depends on person. I almost do not look on chats, but that was the source from where I've found about this forum, so we may say that the use of such chat is not only bad or worthless.

Most of the gamling sites hire someone to repliy in the questions asked in chat box but most of the people were not professionally gambling related and technical related persons so they can't assist the person in the right way.And as someone said having emojis will be a good addy and will save lot of time to convey what we are coming to say.

True talk, personally not interested on the chatbox whenever i gamble on casino gambling platforms because many of these platform make use of Bot chat to pull gamblers attentions. Since i joined the world of gambling, i hardly make use of the chatbox, just my personal behavior toward all casinos platforms, so don't think is important for reinventing.

Discussion, trash talks, gossips, all these make for a more entertaining experience in a gambling site. Though i think this feature is more prominent in pvp games like poker so you really get to interact with other players or with audiences watching the same table.

Having chat rooms at your site will help increase traffic flow for sure but 1st of all, your frontline moderators team should all possess positivity attitude with good morals and because they are the ones who is gonna represent you and your site reputation. Like those mentioned earlier , the moderators will help to ensure no monkey business or scams activities in the room and protect your members wholeheartedly. Staying vigilant while chatting in the room is advisable. I mean after all we are all adults, we are responsible towards our own decisions made. Those scammers luv to send friend requests to their victims so always bear in mind, DO NOT ACCEPT any friend requests unless you know that person. Or else you are only inviting unnecessary trouble for yourself. As a site moderator, myself, i have always luv my fellow members and keeping them happy and safe is essential to me. Makes my day worth living for. Lol!
Next will be the set up of your chat box. Basic commands and emoji should be made available for the convenience of the chatters. If rainbot system is implemented, make sure its programmed to detect same ip address accounts to prevent rain abuse, and also randomly activates based on both wagering and quality chatting activities to ensure fairness for your members.

The problem comes where there are too much people involved in the discussion on the chat and there is only one moderator available because it's almost impossible for him to detect every message that is a spam because dozens of them come every minute. That's why they should hire multiple moderates, up to 3-4 if necessary

Yeah that zynga poker days, I've been playing that and it's fun to be with other players on the chat box.

I think it is great to see some activity in the chat box, I like to see small giveaways in the chat box also, this makes the users more active. I don't like gambling sites with dead chat boxes, if you can see a message that was written 12 hours ago, then it feels like the gambling site don't have any active users.
