Hello stsbrad,

Thanks!
I would really appreciate your help to solve my issue.

I do have a ticket open at their Support Desk:
VEP-822-93487 13 March 2014 10:19 AM
As you can see I updated it a few days ago to announce to them my decision to got public on this issue.
I did go public with my complaint statement here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514176.0
which was forwarded to CampBX Support Desk and PM to Keyur @ Camp BX https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15102 which is CampBX owner.

These are the ACH transactions that failed to come into my Bank of America account, but were never returned back to my CampBX account:
Quote
2013-12-08 13:07:52 2013-12-07 12:53:28 USD Withdraw $1,000.00
2013-12-09 11:44:07 2013-12-09 08:03:09 USD Withdraw $1,000.00
2013-12-10 12:08:58 2013-12-10 10:44:44 USD Withdraw $1,000.00
They have all that information on the ticket above.

I can also produce a report from BoA detailing the transfers I have gotten from "Bull Bull Investments" (which is CampBX mother company).
It is clear that those ACH never made them to my bank account

Nothing will make me  happier than if this issue is resolved in a polite and expedited manner, and that CampBX is indeed an honest and diligent company that can be trusted by the Bitcoin community. It's never too late to make things right.

Thanks again and I'll be waiting for positive results.
Best regards,

Rodrigo

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Wow, they got back to you within ~4 days? It's been almost 4 months for me! Perhaps they're addressing larger transactions first?

I would suggest start to consider filing a small claims, at their state of location.

Or try just going there in person at their office location for the refund. Something I would consider before being hostile for small claims court. Most of the people I know who had the ACH problems did this, since they live locally.

Find a cheap airline, or have a attorney represent for you.

Wow, I just heard the news today that Mt. Gox got shut down. Perhaps CampBX really isn't that bad, then…

That remains to be seen...
After all the complaints about their super-slow support and their complete disregard for customers' missing funds issues.
I do have my doubts.
This conduct could lead them on the same path as MtGox   Undecided
Fortunately, their share of the exchange market is insignificant.

Yes, you're right: according to BitcoinCharts.com, they only have a 5k 30d volume, compared to 657k for BitStamp. Is BitStamp any good? I need to look for a better alternative now that Mt. Gox is shut down. thanks

From what I heard, Coinbase is good for US people and Bitstamp is good for others.  Smiley

Yes, Coinbase is good, but do you know if they run their own exchange? When I spoke with one of its employees, he said they use another exchange as a "backend", so whatever exchange they use we should be using to get the best rates.

Update: It appears they run their own exchange: https://coinbase.desk.com/customer/portal/questions/5176889-what-exchange-is-used-

Our price is based on both our own internal order book of users buying and selling on Coinbase as well as the price on several different bitcoin exchanges. So the price on Coinbase may differ from one particular bitcoin exchange but is correlated to the price on any major bitcoin exchange in the long term.

I think they just buy coins off of bitstamp.  Really what other exchange would they use mtgox is gone, btc-e is shady, and the rest are either too new or small to be real options.
