Any tips I should try in this case to get it work with Mac?
The "proper" way to run cryptowallets is inside clean virtual machines, with no other software installed, preferably one VM per wallet (and ideally those machines should only be able to access internet, and not any of the local network hosts). It's probably not the answer you're looking for, but that's how people usually do this when they don't want their coins stolen. My main desktop is running mac os as well, but I haven't ever used that machine to run any wallets so I don't know what kind of problems one might encounter there. I do know that a lot of coin devs can't even build mac os wallets themselves — just looking at the bounties they usually post in the beginning, there's very often "wallet for mac" there (not sure whether it was the case with stellite). So there's a good chance that a lot of mac os wallets out there are not well debugged at least, or even worse. Thus it's better to stick with windows or linux versions. You can get yourself a windows/linux virtual machine running in 15 minutes, plenty of options out there (I think mac os has some kind of native vm environment for windows called "parallels", although I've never used it myself, vmware is my main choice, but there's also virtualbox and more). For cryptonight cli wallets I usually use linux (ubuntu works just fine), but windows will do as well. So that's the only tip I can give — run a linux/windows wallet in a virtual machine. It'll take some googling, of course, if you don't have any virtualization experience, but it's a useful skill to have. Thanks for the answer. I really appreciate it, do not get me wrong. I know I have not got any coins stolen. There´s just an issue with Stellite-wallet since the wallet is not in sync with the current blockchain status. If Stellite (or cryptocurrencies overall) would like to go viral (and "to the moon") it would mean that solutions and wallets should be rather easy to use. Also if/when coins like Stellite is offering Mac-wallet - it would be more than appreciated to offer a wallet which would work. OR if it is not working - please offer solution to fix it. Please Stellite? I would highly appreciate if there would be a solution for me to get the wallet working with Mac. OR offer some kind a workaround --> E.g. As a workaround - would it be possible to restore my GUI-wallet with Windows/Linux by using the current security phrazes?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that OS is irrelevant for mnemonic seeds, they don't care whether it's Mac OS or Windows/Linux, so you can restore your wallet anywhere you want. I'd also suggest using cli-wallets for cryptonight coins, they're less buggy in general.

XMRig on Windows (CPU) set up no problem at all (Version 2.6.2).
Question, though, does XMR-STAK on Linux support this coin ?
I already have XMR-STAK compiled on 29 machines doing XMR right now... would be easier if I could just change the configs. Thinking I will bring them on Monday... ~58 kH or so.
newest XMR-STAK supports it. https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releasesThanks -- looks like I will need to re-compile to the newest version =)

Are there difficulty over time graphs available for this coin ?
Just out of curiosity... I enjoy that stuff.
Started mining yesterday =)

So this seems like a nice project... got a little impatient and bought in a nice sized bag by trading in my remaining mined XMR... in addition to starting mining.

Stellite is an electronic currency that has privacy and security. Special means to exploit this coin are very common. At the same time, security features, fast speeds and low fees are advantages to Stellite competition and development.

You probably made a mistake somewhere. Network was a bit slow yesterday but now it seems ok. Did 3 transfers myself and no issues.

Tradeogre has put the stellite wallet (and quite a few other wallets) into "maintenance". I asked tradeogre admin why and when it'll work again, and he said "it will be in maintenance until they fix their software". I suppose stellite devs know what fix he's talking about, but I don't - can anyone explain what exactly needs to be fixed?

What's wrong with Tradeorge exchange? How about correlations between recent upgrades of Stellite and Tradeorge exchange's maintenance? No idea what's wrong with tradeogre, probably nothing's wrong, most of the wallets are working, and trading is fine as well. The problem is that a few of the wallets were put into maintenance status, and when I asked tradeogre's admin why.. well, I'm not gonna repeat myself here, his exact response is in my previous post. It sounds like there's a bug or something in some of the cryptonight wallets (including stellite, I suppose?), and the wallet was put into maintenance so that devs can fix the problem, release an update and then it'll be enabled at tradeorge again (the updated version). The tradeogre's response sounded like it's a known problem, so my guess was that the devs know what he's talking about. I just wanted to hear from devs what exactly is going on and what needs to be fixed.

I am in their discord every week and everything seems fine. Although the price is not going in the right way tho.

I don't follow coins on discord, but I don't remember stellite devs ever talking about any problems in this thread. Last time there was a problem - remember how v1.2.4.1 was broken and daemon would just stop syncing after a while - they didn't say anything here. That was a bug in monero (and it got fixed by monero team), but stellite wallet had the same bug, and the daemon had to be restarted regularly in order to continue syncing (lots of stuck deposits on tradeogre at the time). They fixed it in a couple of days (released v1.2.4.2), but said nothing here during that time, which was frustrating cause you'd expect to hear about the problem from the devs working on the solution, and not from tradeogre's admin, after your deposits get stuck time after time. Then there was a guy that (allegedly) found some weird spying shit in the stellite daemon: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2813261.msg37729113#msg37729113No one else said anything about that, and when I asked the devs for a comment, I was also ignored. And now it seems to be the same story: there is some sort of problem, exchanges don't work, devs are probably even working on a solution, but aren't saying anything. Which is frustrating. I don't know, maybe they think that only exciting announcements and good news should be posted here, and whenever anything bad happens it's better to keep quiet until it's fixed. Which is not a good tactic in my opinion... whenever users get frustrated with something, they expect to hear from devs, and when they don't, they are more likely to start dumping their coins and moving on.
