Is mining on Android even possible?
Initially I too had similar reservations and held back from investing too much into this. But subsequent interaction with the devs cleared my doubts.
Man, they seriously know what they are doing! Don't take my word for it, talk to the real guys behind the project and they are on discord and very helpful.

Yes it's possible, especially with a high-end mobile cpu. Surely not profitable but one can actually attain an integer sum of coins to participate on the network.
Even CPU mining isn't profitable if I'm correct.
The Vega are best for crypto night.

Depends on which part of the world you are from due to electricity costs. For me CPU mining is profitable.
I tried their web miner on phone and am getting 10H/s on IOS but battery drains super fast. I guess mobiles mostly charges from office or outside home so the utility cost won't weigh in for majority. So basically if there are 4-5 mobiles in the household and can attain 25H on each phone, that's around 100H which is decent i think. And yeah, to attain 25H on mobile without draining battery / resources would be a big task with a lot of low level coding which I believe the devs are capable of.
Technology wise, IPFS / ZN is more important because then literally it is free from any central control...which is a big risk for all cryptos I guess...

The difficulty is too high while the price is too low, I do not see the profit when digging this coin?

CPU mining is still profitable. My AMD 1800X hashes 585H/s. It mines about 4350 STL a day even with a network hash of 3.5Mh/s. Keep in mind the price tipically goes up along with the net hash. CPUs tend to be less powerful than GPUs but they can still be profitable. If you have a weaker CPU it might not be practical just like using older GPUs.

I like crypto

My Xeon dual cpu 48 cores with 60MB L3 cache works great.
It gets around 1500H/s.

My Intel i5 gets around 250 to 300H/s using xmrig miner... can get a couple of thousan stellited a day that way easily Smiley  actually CPU mining outperforms my GPU Cheesy

Let's hope CPU's can last a while longer in this game Smiley

Maybe there is some hashing algo that could be developed, that even GPU's would have a problem with Wink

There are CPU only coins like MAGI but I believe ASIC resistant but GPU and CPU mineable coins are the best because they provide the optimal ratio of network strength and power distribution.

In what sense fair? GPUs are very common. And with CPU only you can argue the same thing, not everyone has the same CPU and they vary in power.

Same here. I'm really liking what I've gotten so far.
BTW, is anybody starting a STL faucet?

I would say fair in that many many more people worldwide have CPU's in mobile devices (phones, tablets, laptops etc..) than have GPU's

It just means that current miners have higher expectations for the price. Which usually preceeds a higher price. But you don’t have to mine, it’s more profitable to buy right now but both still fall within reason.
