If that is the case it is better to do it now rather than over 2 years, I guess. Loving it though, sounds more crypto with an X in it Wink

I personally feel XTL looks a lot more professional. It gives it a more edgy vive to it. I really like the change! Better to take care of it early on than to change it years down the line imo.

Shit coin?

Definition of a shitcoin:

Copy cat implementation with no real innovation except naming it "Trolleum" or something.
Large premine.
ICO to raise funds with unsuspecting investors.
No real development team.
Shit loads of marketing crap.

Does Stellite fit into the above definitions ? NO. So whats  the basis of your accusation ?

Thanks

I have had a brief look at IPBC. They plan to distribute content using IPFS. (I dont know if its a co-incidence, IPBC - launched 31-01-2018 -  right after Stellite  - launched 24-01-2018) Whether IPFS is suitable for distributing content (streaming) I'm a bit skeptical. And the sheer number of services they plan to include, they may probably put netflix out of business  Grin.
Stellite on the other hand are planning to decentralize nodes using IPFS / Zeronet and they already have an alpha release for IPFS.

Also plans to release mining software for "devices", which includes mobiles & set top boxes.

Both are based on Monero, though I don't see any acknowledgements on IPBC github.

The above is based on my personal understanding / knowledge about both projects. I do not represent either of them.

IPBC is Karbo fork and not Monero.

For one, I'm happy with the ticker change. Don't know why, but XTL just rolls off the tongue easier.
Also, someone fill my order on crex24 already  Grin

Lol I was one of those guys who had a couple hundred thousand ripple coins and sold them right before it started mooning. Ohh well you can never predict the market.

Anywho let's get back to XTL and leave ripple behind xD.

The vast majority of CryptoNote coins are forks of Bytecoin using the Forknote tool. These coins are naturally much less developed than the monero code. Coins like INTS, TRTL,XAO,KRB and even ETN initially (they moved to monero b4 launch) are all forknote coins. That in itself is over 80% of all CryptoNote coins out there.

You then have a few coins that are forks of the monero chain which don't do anything different except change the emission factor & supply of the coin.

This coin is implementing new code consistently, has an active community/dev team and is ACTUALLY working on their roadmap (which can't be said for most coins tbh).

I like crypto
