The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

it got lower but having one pool having over 95% hashrate is kind of sad. i guess its because it's new coin but more decentralisation is needed.

I've never solo mined but would like to at least give it a go with Stellite, is there an Idiot's Guide as to how to do this.
Thanks.

Are you sure you aren't already on 100 servers? It says that the link is expired if you are over the limit.

It's really irritating having these ASIC manufacturers centralizing coins with their ASIC bs. No wonder the nethash increased absurdly high on all cryptonight coins in the last few months. Wouldn`t be surprised if those guys mined with the ASICs a while before releasing them to the public smh. So, i suggest that it seems like the Bikail Giant N too.

its more than irritating...its criminal....the only reason that they made them was to mine with them until someone figured out what was going on...once that happened, they knew algo would be changed and they could just sell them to suckers who wont even receive them until AFTER the algo change...they will be over-priced space heaters...that's it

and to those worrying about 21bill being too many coins, bear in mind that xtl only has 2 decimal places....so in terms of "minimum units" (stelloshis, perhaps), xtl will have 2.1 trillion...while btc has 12mill coins w/ 8 decimal places...which is 1.2x10^13 satoshis

I wouldn't really call it criminal. Theoretically everybody could improve some hardware to serve specific purposes (in this case mining). What exactly is criminal? Creating an information advantage for yourself or using knowledge advantage for yourself?

I agree it is not actually criminal because those who develop Asics are also going to lose their investments if the algorithm of a coin gets adjusted. That's what the discussion for Monero is about and it's going to be very expensive for the Asics producers Wink

it was hyperbole folks...not exactly criminal...but VERY VERY unethical to sell something to someone knowing that it will be useless by the time they receive it...and no, the asic dev will not lose their investment...they made profit by mining xmr secretly for months...and more money by then selling the used hardware to unsuspecting people

Ok that sounds reasonable. Regarding the point where you sell something to someone although you know it will be worthless upon arrival, couldn't that be a criminal action?

What's going on with https://communitypool.stellite.cash
I'm not getting any "total due" for like 2 hours or so... Although it's the most total hashrate pool... My rigs are working just fine (16kh/s).

I'm having exactly the same problem "Total Due" stuck on same amount for past 2 hours. Is it a problem with the pool or the network ?
Think I'll try another pool and see what happens.

Funny a ? Was very quiet till few days ago .. Price went up and everybody come here , asking questions from two pages behind , meaning they don't even bother to read or do research before they invest or run they rigs , Or even better they just bought Gtx 1030 Ti and lets mine yeeh .. And on top blaming devs for the high price WTF is wrong with this world .MaMA Mia....Yes guys is Cryptonight v7 so if you are Superman you are on a wrong place.. Plus devs promised next month V10 comming ..Yes fork again and yes problems during fork .. So do me a favor don't mine it ..

Thanks for the tip, I had alreay switched to xtl.cryptopool.space and it's working fine. Also, the 'stuck' XTL on the Community Pool have all now come through, even those that were in my wallet but unconfirmed for hours.

A bit of a puzzle about mining on xtl.cryptopool.space, may not be specific to the pool, but I've an 'R9 270x 2GB' and an 'RX 470 4GB' mining on xtl.cryptopool.space and the R9 270x gets about same shares as the RX 470, I thought the RX 470 would get lots more shares, what's going on ? (each card running on a separate copy of Claymore)

Card             Hashrate    Shares         Run Time
R9 270x 2GB   477 h/s      568 shares   6 hours 50 minutes
RX 470  4GB   848 h/s      539 shares   6 hours 30 minutes

Nothing fake about our pictures or names. Some team members wanted to stay semi-anonymous and we respect their decision.
