Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Well done to all the devs for such a smooth fork. ETN devs should take notice.

Sure Stellite guys did not have such a huge hashrate like ETN did due to ASICs, but the difference is the Stellite dev team are prudent and forked early so they did not have to deal with it.

Has anyone managed to run xtlrig?

"variant": XTL or xtl doesn't work, "variant": 2 also doesn't work — miner just won't accept these values and won't even start.. The miner does start with "variant": 1, but it's the old algo so no shares are accepted. How are we supposed to specify this new PoW algo?

You were close... it's "variant : "xtl"

You were just missing the "" ^_^

How to i get cast xmr to work with this new xtl becaus now im getting no shares are accepted.
 Sad

you should get the latest version (1.1.5) then use --algo=6 to force stellitev4 Wink

Thanks mate cheers  Lips sealed

What is wrong with forking if they are improving things? You are against improvements?  Cheesy

Hello, fellow miners!

Pool stellite.miner.rocks (xtl-v4 ready)
updated to v1.2.4.0 daemon and tested with v4 private net

Features:
- email notifications of workers down
- stats and hashrate chart per worker
- PPLNS reward scheme for rounds shorter than hour, PROP scheme for longer rounds, PPLNS window is 60 minutes
- payment id, integrated address supported
- adjustable payment threshold
- every port supports secure SSL/TLS connection as well as insecure one
- port 80 available for firewalled miners
- static diff supported, see static diff calculator
- multiple daemons, to prevent downtime in case of daemon stuck
- height checks, to prevent mining on forked chain
- sample configs for xtl-v4 supported mining apps

PPLNS fee: 0.4%

Location: Europe

Please be aware that pool already uses new ports 4003, 4005, 4007.
Ports 3333, 5555, 7777 will be closed very soon.
xtl-stak (cpu, gpu) and xtlrig (cpu) support autoswitch from V3 to V4, so they already can be used and will work after the fork.

Welcome & Lucky Mining!

Good pool, when I mine XTL it's there.

Which mining tool is the best one for mining Stellite at the moment?
Highly appreciate your hints on mining tips, in particular Stellite mining game.

I CPU mine (Ryzen 2400G) with JCE CN cpu miner (variation 7 in the .bat file).
I GPU mine with SRB miner 1.5.9 (stellitev4 in the "config" file). The intensity depends on your cards
Pool is either the community pool or most of the time the miner rocks pool.

Thanks to that fork i missed all my coins i had. I transferred yesterday, 08.06, coins to one of the exchanges and i haven't; received any coins yet. MOREOVER, now my wallet doesn't show yesterday TX. I've tried to restore wallet but it doesn't help: at first, the wallet shows the balance that should be till my yesterday transfer. But when i;m trying to transfer coins again, there is error "double spent". I don't understand nothing, this fork brought only difficulties with effect from changing configs of all workers ending with these issues with missed coins Angry
Clarify please my actions to find missed coins and TX number? Honestly i'm very disappointed in all these changes...

I think with the ongoing war with asic that, as a rule of thumb, all coins if they are to be asic resistant for real and not just in writting, must hard for EVERY 6 months.

but it just forked was there another asic released???

As i know and understood well, this fork is not related to ASIC resistance because stellite was upgraded in May with ASIC resistance, didn't it?

It is. The more the cryptonight algo has variations, the less incentive to build new ASICs.
There is still the possibility of FPGAs, but the gap in efficiency is much more narrow than with ASICs. The very powerfull Xilinx FPGA is 7 times more efficient than a Vega 64 at CN mining (14KH/s 150W vs 2KH/s and 150-160W), with ASICs it was close to X100 hashes for 4 times the power of a single Vega 64. So in terms of H/W an ASIC was 25 times better than the best GPU at mining CN.
