Low hash rate, any suggestions?

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and looking for a little help.

My buddy helped me get set up with mining some LUX with the instructions from jkcrypto, however once all set up he noticed that my hashrate is pathetically low. He's getting almost 20x the hashrate on his GTX 970.

I'm running a Gigabyte GTX 1080 with the following settings
