Hi All! As you might heard, by community vote we are ending ProofOfWork early and switching to ProofOfStake. Last POW block will be 10.000  We are using See-saw reward mechanism to encourage people to stake coins , though with little favor towards Masternodes.  Proof of stake block reward will slowly decrease every month  by 5 coins.  As this is hard fork, all users will have to update to wallet version 1.0.3. (https://github.com/Phoboscurrency/PBSCoin/releases )  Masternode holders will need to update both, control and VPS wallet. Settings can stay the same, you dont need to reset them. Just update wallet and restart masternode. Just to stay on safe side please backup your wallet.dat.

1)  Switch to POS immediately
2) Stay on POW for another month as planned and then go to POS

Why? miners will stop dumping mindlessly. PIVX is long time PoS, doesn't look like it's dead!
Phobos has a bright future ahead with a strong roadmap and without some impossible claims other coins tend to make. Faster PoS switching is only making the coin better.

Hello All, if coins with POS mechanism used to be rare just a year ago now we can see more and more of these coins.

Why?

First you don’t need expensive farms, you don’t have to spend  money for electricity and you don’t have to upgrade and replace expensive cards every year.

All you need is a running wallet on one of your computers. Computer should be on 24x7

Second, since for receive POS rewards you need some money  on your account we are reducing supply , and as we all know reducing supply increasing the price, IF miners used to sell their profits once mined POS holders will keep it to receive more awards.

This Friday Phobos switching to POS, as soon as developers announced that priced increased on exchanges, so we already can see that investors took it positively, Anyway this creates better investments opportunities as well for big and small investors

but Sunday and Monday is nothing income!
