The merit system is a new update that is really useful to avoid spamers who want to rank up easily for campaigns. Based on what I have read, this merit system is necessary to rank up. To be a jr.member you do not need any merit points yet but to get a member rank you must tied up you activities to at least 10 merit points. I'm still confused on how this will going to work because not all can provide a merit points but I'm sure this update is for good.

That's simple not true. High ranks (or people who really care about this forum) don't care about competition. We care about not having our forum getting shited by you spammers and "sir i join your campaign and make money ok?" shitposters who only want to make money. Since reading is too damn hard for you, let me explain: do you want to rank up and make your goddamn money? Then do some posts that are not completely shit and YOU WILL GET MERIT. Newbies aren't supposed to give merit because a lot of spammers will start making tons of fake accounts to merit each other. I know that a lot of you will start complaining on how you can't rank up (and join your shit campaigns) because you can't make a proper post, but that's how things are going to work. Understood? |

The jump upwards from member is going to be hard for anyone who didn't start at their ranks. Theymos said there are only some 8k or so of smerit to go around each month once the current supply is used up. |

This is very fortunate for all existing Full Members and above since they have been awarded free merit. Those of us below this rank at the time will have a hard time. I wonder how many Full Members will be able to attain the required merit for a genuine Senior Member rank up for example? With the limited supply of sMerit it will be difficult. |
