Is it safe to use a browser application (Google Authenticator) on a computer for (Two-Factor Authentication) ?

I mean on a computer in a browser, not a mobile phone.

Developer is not Google. Website https://sneezry.com/ developer application.

Do you work with this ?

In my opinion is safe because this app does not need internet connection so not posible to hack by other party.

I checked several antiviruses, several times, at the moment nothing suspicious was detected. Perhaps the application is safe, but I still have doubts, I'm not 100% sure.
