Laptop is good only for pos coin example obsidian, minexcoin,cj,cyder, gpu, renos, steepcoin, purevidz, copico. But make backup wallet after installing wallet on pendrive.

Obsidian appears to be not minable according to this: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/obsidian/

Useless to mine with but not useless for mining. Grin  I use an old laptop to SSH into my miners as well as keep my wallets. Coins that can be staked could be done through your wallets to generate some $$$ but from my experience even if the laptop can mine decently, they can't dissipate the heat fast enough and will burn out quick.

You can mining cryptonight algo or ethash algo, you can mining small coin. But it is very useless
You can mining if you want your laptop die with smoke
Sell your laptop and rent mining rig
