Are there any reasons why this account has not been added yet?

And has any of those users in the OP got a punishment for abusing the merit system?
This thread doesnt really serve any purpose if there are no consequences
Didn't see this one. Tagged now.

It might get more attention if it was on the Reputation board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0
This doesn't seem to be against forum rules so it is a trust issue. The guys with the red paintbrushes usually keep an eye on threads posted there.
Nah, this is fine here. I've set this thread on my watchlist but there's a backlog of users that I need to investigate/tag.

Unfortunately, I don't have all the time in the world to spare Wink

OK, if you get to the pair I posted above I found 6 connected accounts in the end and posted in the Known alts of anyone thread. There's probably more but a lot of the scam token campaigns seem to delete their spreadsheets or get there threads trashed.

Just saw this post on the top merited replys:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2773544.msg29292037#msg29292037

Twinscoin2017 got four high merit transactions from different accounts which have only sent merit to this guy for low quality posts

January 31, 2018, 02:01:09 PM: 30 from chickenado for Re: What would happen to BTC if internet was turned off?
January 31, 2018, 01:40:23 PM: 50 from KenChanYu for Re: what is the bitcoin for you? and how did he change your life?
January 31, 2018, 01:30:50 PM: 50 from Gaff for Re: why bitcoin is profitable ?
January 31, 2018, 01:22:21 PM: 22 from djgtr for Re: what is the bitcoin for you? and how did he change your life?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221660
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=62998
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=22398

This one's obvious. Though none of them have been tagged by DT yet.

Twinscoin2017 seems to be either having multiple alts that he has previously bought/farmed, that is sending him merits for posts that probably deserve absolutely none. In fact most of their posts are in spam megathreads with absolutely no content.

Plus, if you look at their post history... Looks very similar imo.

This could be potentially a case of an alt army, instead of just something simple than people abusing merit systems.

The merits from these 3 users were set with an interval of 1 - 2 minutes. Most likely alt.

A suggestion to the OP and everyone else who are reporting users abusing merit. When some one has to report users, they can use a standardized format to report them for easiness. For example,
Code:
[b]USER PROFILE [/b] : [url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=xxxx] Username [/url]
[b]MERIT SUMMARY [/b]: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=xxxx
[b]PROOF[/b]: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=yyy.msgzzz#msgzzz
[b]MISCELLANEOUS[/b]:Anything else the user wants to state.
Note: - xxxx should be replaced by userID. yyy should be replaced by the topic's designated ID. And zzz to be replaced by the message number. Like say,
Quote
This will also help DT members to tag those who are abusing such, hopefully, and things would seem to be much better.
How bad is the suggestion?

I don't know what is purpose of your post and, of course, so many same threads of other users. Spotting those activities will lead to permanent ban for those accounts or not. I guess not, simply because the current merit system has not pointed out those ones as violated activites.

Therefore, they are legal. The fact is merit system should be adjusted a little bit to control users from trading sMerits officially like those ones, which result in likely official abusement merit system.

Another thing should be considered is that whether we should have limitations on maximum number of sMerits to send or received each day for each user, and from each users to another.

sMerits limit for given day and  limits for each user can be good way to balance merit rating.  If the idea behind merit system to promote community and quality post then limits will be the ideal way.

there is no need to limit on sending/receiving merits, by default it would be limited by the availability of sMerit they have
awarding merits in large number between two users (or set of users) will only raise suspicion, specially for non-quality posts
but maybe blocking certain condition such as repeatedly giving merit to the same person is not allowed
giving merit to the same person becomes available again after spreading merits to 10 different users

I apologize for off-topic.

Early for moderators of Russian Local I created categorized list of copy-paste spam topics from Kremlin-bots > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2728272.0
But flood topics still not banned/deleted because second moderator has left the local. At the same time, the Russian local has users that have become legendary for flooding and trolling. By example, tvskit which many times was temporarily banned by moderators for 2 weeks > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=163342  Local moderator say me users like this isn't banned permanently only because theymos gives privileges to legendary. You decide whether the troll from Politics section deserves a legendary rank and neutral trust when not only doesn't help the forum, but also insults moderators, increases the burden on the moderators and calls a shit the fight against bots and spam.

How can you believe a person who is engaged in trolling and spamming in politics? And does it trade and exchange merit!!!

I believe that merits should be awearded singly with the limit of one per user per post. Members should be able to award any sMerit they have, even if it is all of it in one day, and posts should be able to receive multiple merits provided they are from different members. This is the best way to gain peer ranking of posts in my opinion.

If I'm a troll and a spammer, then why did the moderators many times ban you and never me? And where is the evidence of your help to the forum? Can you prove that there is a connection between my trust and your innocence? Come on, I'm waiting with popcorn. Cool

fxpc owns several bots (e.g. Fucker_Crypto_Boss) which he uses for political trolling and shit-posting in russian threads.

I for example failed inattention immediately after the service I lost 15 s-merit just refresh the page, it does not mean that abused credit, bad that you cannot cancel the transfer and no waiting time or confirm the transfer of s-merit at the @mail for example, that would be the time to think about it.

Those two are probably the same person. Noticed they'd give points to each other and they both have the exact same way of typing with the spaces before punctuation:

I prefer 50 for Bitcoin investments and 50 for real businesses like opening a clothing or food store.
We never know that Bitcoin will be everyone's choice and the price remains stable. the worst risk of bubbles, even if it's just a FUD smelling issue.

I strongly support such an idea , if you got money you'd better go for a real life investment and not just throw all your money at cryptos and letting the big whales control your fate , it is a very risky thing and you never know what will happen next ..
Investing in proprieties is the best thing to do , just get a house or a garage and rent it ! It'll continue to get you money on a monthly basis and you'll be able to stack that rent money and just buy another asset .
Investing in crypto can be much more rewarding , we can't take that from it , but it can also doom you and let you penniless overnight .
Cryptos are certainly known of all around the world by now , but no more than 5% of the world population uses it , which isn't nearly enough to make it stand all the problems it'll face .. That's why a plan B is always a must .

So basically i'll be investing 0.01 bitcoin which is equivalent to 140$ and is equivalent to a week's work of a normal job in my country to have a chance of 1/15000 to win a 100 btc which is less than the chance to win the lottery ..
This is not gambling at all , this is throwing money reinvented or just a scam !
We all agree that gambling has a binary output based on luck , but i don't think that the luck of all the humain beings will be enough to win this .
