I don't know if how much money i have in crypto i just save them in any exchanges for long term trading and the price of every coin is always changing so we can not calculate if how much all of them.. I am starting to mine altcoin and building my rigs gradually because i know this is much more good alternative investment that can be more profitable and less risk than trading. .

Not that much, about 20% of my total net worth is invested in different coins and tokens.

Tolerable amount, enough for a good profit and tolerable enough if I ever lose in my investments. I will never go all in any investments.

I answered 40-60% and that is about right but there's an important distinction to make, when I first got in to crypto it was with only about 2% of my funds, I've since grown that greatly and that's why it's at a much larger amount. If one day I am in need of finances I will withdraw from my crypto holding.

I used to accumulate a fixed amount of coins every few weeks till the price reached $500, which was for me the moment to stop due to me being satisfied with the number of coins I accumulated. At that time I had probably 20% of my total liquid savings in Bitcoin. If I look at the value of my Bitcoin holdings today, it's more like close to 70% Bitcoin and the other 30% savings. I can thank the massive increase from $500 till where we are today for that. I am a Bitcoin enthusiast only. That however doesn't mean I will never invest in altcoins, but looking at their prices right now, no thanks.

I'm constantly trying to adjust these percentages and take more money away from crypto but I keep making more crypto money faster than I can take it away.

Same story as me , back in 2016 i have tried to leave crypto as i feel have made profit enough to live well.
But then as time goes by without even i realized , things went coversely. Instead cash the whole crypto investment out.
Now i hold fiat only for my monthly expense , the rest of it is on digital asset , almost losing my mind to go allin but i am aware that kind action is just a greedy.

I was sure it wouldnt pass 8K and sold most of my coins at 7K. I was 80% cashed out, in the bank. I already had enough money to take a break from work for several years. Then I did something I swore I would never do and used my remaning coins that had been in cold storage for 4 years to trade. I margin traded a few altcoins and within weeks and I made back all the coins I sold, times 3. Suddenly I'm way too heavy on crypto again and am scrambling to formulate a withdrawal plan with exchange solvency now in question.

Why 50% in cash? That seems like a lot. I hold a lot of cash but only because I plan on using it very soon to buy a house. If I didn’t have imminent plans to spend it, I’d probably never keep more than 10-20% of my assets in cash.

I don't have any of my own "regular job-earned" salary money invested in cryptos, all the money is from the campaigns i joined and freelance work. And that just makes me feel safe as i do not consider these as my own fiat local money, i just think of it as a prize which someone might steal from me.

Actually what is significantly more weird is that you appear to find this suspicious. That is very strange, as my question is pretty normal.

I answered the poll. I have no money in crypto right now. I previously had some in 2013 and I held a small amount from 2014 and sold it at $17,700. I don't think I ever had more than like 10% at any point.

to ensure some security is always good to diversify, is what I do, I buy several different alt such as ETH, Neo, lisk, NXT, Stratis and many others... is very complicated to control and rarely do any post in the alt sections that I invest because I prefer to read a lot of what they post and to make it easier for me to investigate more projects. but as I said, I diversify

So you diversify within crypto... do you have any money outside of crypto though? In cash? gold? stocks? real estate? Since the crypto market mostly moves together, diversifying within crypto isn't truly diversifying because it still means you are taking on a lot of risk.

Sounds like you did really well though. Do you plan to take some gains off the table? Seems risky to keep that large of an amount in crypto.

We'll see what this year brings. My plan was to wait until 2020 before thinking about doing anything. If the prices become ludicrous this year then I may look into it and take out a percentage, though I think I can't be bothered as I've set on fire everything the tax man has sent me for the last two decades, but other than that I'm staying put.

I have very little money in crypto because right now I have very little to risk. Therefore I will try to generate income through a signature campaign and then later begin to trade and invest with that income. It will be slow and hard but it's all I can try to do right now.

What are your own plans?

My plan is to stay out of crypto in the short term. I think this bubble cycle is over and it may be a couple years before seeing new all time highs. I also have doubts about bitcoin specifically because of its scalability/transaction/technical issues. Right now I'm more in stocks/cash and plan on buying a house soon so I'm trying to keep risk very low for the next few months. Once I have a house and if crypto declines more, I might consider a few alt coins for a small speculative investment. I think IOTA looks interesting but I'd have to do more research.
