a lot of people say i will go down to $8000. i do not think it will happen .bitcoin will be up again .2018is the big year.

Possibilities is huge for that to came since the current fear are in the minds of the holders and only few morons are bagholding for safekeeping and bagholdings but their's so many also are in brain freeze state where they do a dump schemes since they afraid to lose more if that 8k price came on one of these days. But we shouldn't put on our minds that time will come to us since if people will be freak out and all sell their bitcoins then we can positively see that price you given here.

Yeah, your'e right. Long term investors want a bigger profit and less risk. Because they believe that the price of BTC will double soon, they earn a lot by just waiting for the right time.

Everyone keeps on saying that btc price will double or we'll go to the moon and all that but there's no timeframe when. This can go a bit lower so it would be best not to get your hopes up. I think it's quite better this way. We all know that btc price will go up again but a slower pace maybe healthier than what happened last december.

Anyone who owns BTC today should be kept in mind that value of 1 BTC has tremendous potential in the future regarding price.Also BTC as currency should be on track again with SegWit and LN,so why convert in fiat if you have another choice.

I like the idea of holding at this period of bitcoin price correction. Yes long term investment should persists these days due to price stable at this current rate. Moreover, we should hold for now and dont sell bitcoin it will have the move to rise again.

Selling below $11,400 is not a basis if a person is smart or not. If someone sells lower than $11,400 or with the price right now which is $10,930 and he bought it when it was around $1,000 isn't he smart already from the beginning? Anyone is free to hold and to sell but whoever will sell right now, it's either they need the cash or just another panic seller.

This is the greatly important thing to remember when considering why people are selling, everyone's circumstances are different in terms of financial commitments etc and then there is also the consideration of what point they entered in to the market. For someone who entered at $1k for example, a price difference from $11k to $12k isn't such a big difference for them, they are either 1000% up or 1100% up. Whereas then for someone who invested at say 10k, then a much larger amount of their profit is on the table. This is all in real terms, in percentage terms it is all relative but given that for most people the fiat value of their investment has some value, we often do not think in purely relative terms.

For anyone looking to invest right now I think the important thing is to consider those things that you have mentioned, you should not be looking to make a quick 4/5% on 11.5k to 12k and instead be looking to invest for the future and a much bigger return, we will most probably see a new ATH at some point in 2018 and that would be a 100% profit or more for anyone investing now, when the changes you mentioned come in to play then bitcoin can again be suited to being used as a payment option, assuming they fix the current high fee problem.

Dude let people decide on their own if they wanna hold or sell!
You can't know what's going to happen, therefore the price could drop down to 6k. And then what?! You advise would have been pretty dumb and some might blame you, who knows.
If you wanna hold, that'S fine. I'm doing the same with the majority of my stash.

You're hammering a bit too hard on him. He's not directly saying you have to do this or that. It's more a friendly reminder (bit of advice) that it might not be wise to sell at these price levels.

I do kinda agree with OP. It seems that the market is ready for a small breakout to $13,000 in the coming days. Not that it is much of an achievement percentage wise, but it's just the beginning with lightning network ahead of us.

The market seems to be consolidating above the $10,000 mark, which might not mean much for now, but if we can keep this up, we'll at least experience a slow increase that can last for months till something really bullish pops up.

Why would anyone sell below $15k is the real question here.

Right now is the time to buy in because the price is moving sideways, and gradually stabilizing. When that happens it is usually an indication of the fact that bitcoin is going to rise through the roof soon.

We already hit $12k briefly but a correction again, brought us down to just above $11k.

History is repeating itself. This current drop in price corresponds perfectly to september's price drop. And the price was only a fraction of what it is right now, if you look at the graphs. If you sell at such a low price, you'll only regret it later on.

Why you guys are depending on Technical Charts, DO you know that technicals are useless right now. Fundamentals are most predictable and if you wish to use that predicted price then try it when market is dip. this is totally insane. Sell you btc if the price is at 15,000 usd and up.

By seeing the graphical view of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin ,the price of bitcoin when compared .Since the price is low as  compared the past value, you can inverse your valuable money on bitcoin now. Don't sell the bitcoin at very low fee.
