Hi all,

I sent 1 bitcoin that created a change output 0.2 bitcoin to a new address. It still belongs to me but I do not know how to view it and spend it within Armory.

Also I checked the address in bitcoin cash blockchain and noticed that when I sent the bitcoin (above) it also sent 1 bitcoin cash to a new address along with the same value in change (0.2 bcc) to a second address.

1. How do I access my bitcoin change amount (0.2 bitcoin)?
2.Where has this 1 bcc and the bcc change amount gone? Is it still in my possession?

Thanks in advance.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Were you trying to spend on the Bitcoin or Bcash networks? When did you receive the UTXOs that were used to fund the transaction? (Bcash split off in Aug. 2017, so if the UTXOs are post-Bcash, you never had that Bcash in the first place.) Is Armory properly synced with Core? Which versions of Armory and Core were you using at the time?

In July.

Everything was synced with core properly, it was with the current version at that time (July)

Many thanks.

The change automatically comes back to you and is automatically handled by Armory. Did you not receive it?

To get your Bcash, look at the sticky. There are directions up there. If you run ABC, run 0.16.1, not 0.16.2. Armory only supports Bcash in so much as people are expected to move their coins to a wallet/exchange that does support Bcash.
