According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Ok hope it's ok to post here but I have quickly visited all the sites and put the minimums/ fees and some other relevant info for noobs and small players in another list here:

Note that about half of the sites will absorb amounts sent below the minimum, yet don't list the minimum on the main page.

BITWHISK
0.5% fee + miners fee rate in sat/B
interface implies you can send small amounts.
however it also mentions that dust will be considered a donation
not sure what the minimum would be, especially when the fee is sat/byte
BITMIXcoin.io
0.01 minimum, it says please do not mix less than this
there is no indication however what will happen if you try
minimum mix fee 1% + 0.0005 per forwarding address
says they offer escrow on the forum can’t see it on the site just now though
COINMIXER.se
random service fee 1-3 % and address fee 0.0001 BTC per output
interface won’t accept amounts smaller than .001

see elsewhere on this forum for info about these sites
BITCLOAK
smallest amount seems to be 0.01,
unlike many of the mixers they will not accept smaller amounts
BitCloak fee is randomized for every order and is set around 2%. There is also a network fee of 0.0004 Bitcoins for each payout address
BITBLENDER
Minimum for quickmix is 0.01 BTC after fees (clearly labelled)
doesn’t say what the fees are though on the site
a long running service but has apparently had some hiccups here and there
GHOST MIXER
fees 1-3% transaction .00005btc
minimum deposit 0.01btc, clearly labelled at the input
[banned mixer]
minimum transaction size: 0.001BTC, smaller transactions considered donations
minimum fee is 0.5% plus 0.0005BTC
CHIPMIXER.com
minimum transaction size: 0.004BTC
pay as you like but smallest option is 0.001BTC (?)
smallest chip is 0.001BTC, apparently rounded down and leftovers absorbed as a donation(?)
BESTMIXER.io
minimum Bitcoin: 0.001 BTC
"Smaller amounts will be considered as donations and will not be refunded if sent to our wallet"
fees appear to be only 0.5%(?)
BITMIX.biz
our mixing fee is 0.4-4% (you can set it manually) and address fee:
Bitcoin: 0.001 per output address
minimal amount of Bitcoin for mixing is 0.007 per output address and maximal 1000.
Only transactions in this range will be accepted. Amounts below the minimal will be considered as donations
PRIVCOIN.io
Bitcoin our minimum fee is 0.8% plus 0.0005 BTC per forwarding address
smallest bitcoin: 0.005 BTC
Smaller amounts will be considered donations and not returned
BLENDER.io
minimum transaction size: 0.01BTC, smaller transactions considered donations
Our fees range from 0.5% to 3% for each operation, plus extra 0.0001 BTC
SMARTMIX
"We take a 0.5% service fee per transaction plus a fee of 0.0001 BTC per payout address as transaction fee."
Amounts smaller than 0.001 BTC are not profitable for us to mix. Therefore we consider smaller amounts sent to us as donations.
also note: some scam warnings/negative posts on this forum

ok there you go, feel free to correct anything that is wrong, trying to be helpful here

note strikethrough updated late july2018

You should format this better.

I also have a quick few notes:

[banned mixer]
minimum transaction size: 0.001BTC, smaller transactions considered donations
minimum fee is 0.5% plus 0.0005BTC (for every incoming transaction)
Correction: plus 0.0005BTC for every incoming transaction.

CHIPMIXER.com
minimum transaction size: 0.004 0.001BTC
pay as you like but smallest option is 0.001BTC (?)
smallest chip is 0.001BTC, apparently rounded down and leftovers absorbed as a donation(?)
The minimum is 0.001BTC. It was only increased temporarily while the Bitcoin fees were high.

BLENDER.io < scam
minimum transaction size: 0.01BTC, smaller transactions considered donations
Our fees range from 0.5% to 3% for each operation, plus extra 0.0001 BTC
This mixer is most likely a scam.

Looks like its time for you to remove BitMixCoin from the list since they probably exit scammed.

[VERIFIED] Scam accusation against BITMIXCOIN.IO
So far, it has been 3 days without any answer from BitMixCoin (PS: The Letter of Guarantee has been verified).

The scammed user hasn't received anything since June 9.

I have sent to Bitmixcoin 16 bitcoins at 19:39:26, 9th of June 2018. Until now i dont get any bitcoin from them. I have sent a email to them. They still dont answer me.

Update: Confirmed as a scam by Vod!

I have read the letter of guarantee so I can confirm that an address posted by bitmixcoin.io was sent 16+ btc.

Can anyone confirm if Pay shield is still working ? I am an old user of the dark net and I know there were some scam accusations against Pay Shield in different dark net markets and forums.

I know they are a reputable company but I think they need a confirmation as that is the only way I would mix coin with them. There are a lot of clear net which are better like Chipmixer. I think you should add a warning to it until a confirmation is proved for them.

Could you please correct your list?
The fact is that one of the services, namely SmartMix.io was charged with a scam March 23, 2018.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815450.msg32960872#msg32960872
After that, several more users confirmed that they had lost coins.
To date, the SmartMix.io did not make any reply messages, which indicates that the service most likely ceased to exist.

I will check about smartmixer to be sure because I see the users who complained are users with 2 posts or coming back after almost 5 years of inactivity in the topic link you posted.

As for Pay shield I haven't heard lately so I don't know but I will search to see how it's going and remove it it if needed

Thanks guys

Hi,

I am not familiar with your list or website, but I presume it aims to promote reputable mixing services.

SmartMix.io is a scam.

A few days ago, I sent one blog webmaster undeniable proof that Smartmix.io is a scam.
The webmaster was quickly convinced that SmartMix.io was in fact a scam, pulled several articles that promoted Smartmix.io from their site and immediately published
the following scam alert:

https://www.cryptocoinupdates.com/scam-alert-smartmix-io-is-a-confirmed-scam/

If you are still unsure about Smartmix.io, I will gladly email you the evidence for your review so you can clean up your list.

My goal is to thoroughly expose Smartmix.io and completely bury the service.

Thanks.

My goal is to thoroughly expose Smartmix.io and completely bury the service.
Then just post your evidence. I've checked your article and you didn't say anything about why SmartMix is a scam.

Who is going to believe in you? If you want to bury the service, then you need to publicly expose them.

My goal is to thoroughly expose Smartmix.io and completely bury the service.
Then just post your evidence. I've checked your article and you didn't say anything about why SmartMix is a scam.

Who is going to believe in you? If you want to bury the service, then you need to publicly expose them.

Hmmm.

I haven't written any articles, nor did I say that I did.
I haven't asked anyone to believe in me.
And I question your assertion that I need to "publicly expose them" to bury their service.

Having said that, I do appreciate that your response does convey that you are interested in the evidence I offered to provide.

I will post it.

Please read carefully, OK?

Thanks.

OK.  I have limited time for the next few days, so I will publish this in parts, hopefully at least one part per day:

Part 1 will provide the essential evidence that proves SmartMix.io stole BTC.
Part 2 will describe the scammer's modus operandi and how he fucked up in this instance
Part 3 will show how the scammer has responded to being exposed

Part 1 comes next.

SmartMix.io is a scam - Evidence, Part 1

User received an email request for evidence supporting the claim that SmartMix.io is a scam.

The user responded as follows:

Some peripheral supporting evidence can be found here:

1) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.msg40602386#msg40602386
2) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815450.msg32960872#msg32960872
3) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815450.msg36160019#msg36160019

Concrete evidence is shown in attached .pdf showing screenshots of two recent Txs with SmartMix.io.
1) The first Tx did not end in the theft of the user's BTC, but is pertinent in that it shows an address owned by SmartMix.io.
2) The 2nd Tx resulted in the user's BTC being stolen.

Viewing the Tx via blockchain.info, one can clearly see that the user sent BTC to SmartMix.io's address.  One can further see that the BTC was not mixed, nor was BTC sent back to the user's specified address.

SmartMix.io has failed to respond to any communication via their website support contact form at https://smartmix.io/support or emails sent to smartmix@gmx.net.

Thus it can be confirmed that SmartMix.io received BTC and failed to send BTC back to the user.

Here are direct links to the relevant Txs on the BTC blockchain:

1) Tx showing SmartMix.io ownership of address, 3PVFJCMNti7kY4fxZ3nnwALX4qTS6xsoj4
https://blockchain.info/tx/51a67b7d3a4593df246969004e75d70f307f043275afb0b8ea205c3397216a33

2) Tx showing SmartMix.io's address, 3PVFJCMNti7kY4fxZ3nnwALX4qTS6xsoj4, received BTC from user.
https://blockchain.info/tx/50135c1e012202f60ac414faebeec8a1a138589fa1bbf86c7d40cad0922790d1

3) User's specified output address shows balance of zero - i.e. user did not receive BTC (mixed or not) from SmartMix.io.
https://blockchain.info/address/1DFnmz26X4c3gBtpbgwz2HRJHkCqJfRuh1

Of course, feel free to try to contact SmartMix.io and obtain his side of the story, if he has one.

Simple question for him to answer:  Tx #2 (above) shows conclusively that you received 1.8620081 BTC, but you did not mix those BTC and send them to the user's specified address.  User claims that you have also failed to respond to any of her communication attempts.  Why?

If you have any further questions, I'll try to answer them.  Email me.

The .pdf mentioned can be found here.   It consists of annotated screen shots that step through the two transactions discussed above.

What about to rank them? I mean to make it easy for customers to make a choice with some factors like how much year is the mixer active and etc...
Because as you see, bitmixcoin turned into scam, as I remember they weren't in your list but if they were between serious mixers, it would be unfair.
I think it's better to include how much year they are active in mixing since ranking them by our choice would cause a lot of issues.

The list isn't ranked by my choice, it's random. I think it's useless to add since how many time the service is online because it doesn't make it more trustworthy than a young Bitcoin mixer. And I could give a concrete example without a problem.
BitMixcoin was on the list but when @TryNinja sent me a message with details to tell me that the site had turned into a scam I removed it directly the next day

Better is to list them under scam category if you want to maintain. Your thread will be able to provide information about not only active good Bitcoin Mixers but also a list of sites which turned into scam and one should avoid using it.

Thanks for the suggestion, yes it's a list I planned to maintain and I hadn't thought of that and I think you're right. I will add a list of scam services so. Because yeah it can help the other members to avoid using it. Will do it today or tomorrow...

I feel that you should include some kind of rating system to see which of these sites are the best, based on user-friendliness

and speed and also fees. There are a lot of these sites out there and some of them are very difficult to use. It is strange

that people think that Bitmixer.io was a honeypot.  Undecided

I will check about smartmixer to be sure because I see the users who complained are users with 2 posts or coming back after almost 5 years of inactivity in the topic link you posted.

As for Pay shield I haven't heard lately so I don't know but I will search to see how it's going and remove it it if needed

Thanks guys
At least in their profile it is clear that they were on the network June 21, 2018, 02:57:09 PM, but did not bother to respond to users who accuse them of fraud.
At least you could indicate in your list that they do not respond to messages on the forum.
In general, silence is a sign of agreement. Those. if they do not refute the charges, then they agree.
