There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

It may seem like a good deal, however you're unlikely to get one in the next few days.

So, change delivery date to September and you will see these will never ROI as well. http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/b686d6f969

Same ole' overpriced ASICMINER... don't be the bag holder of this ancient technology please.

Don't say no one warned you when you don't make your BTC back.

Forget these, they'll make MAXIMUM BTC4 in their lifetime before they become *obsolete*

So you're hoping to make MAXIMUM 50 bucks with each (at current 2.5% difficulty increase per day, which is the most realistic average)

I'll offer BTC100 for 100 Blades not a *fart* more.

A Bon Entendeur

selling for 3.5 btc, probably cost <$100 to make one, so freidcat's true profit margin on those are finally clear and more importantly you guys should now realize where the bottom is. Once those cards are worth only 1btc (assuming 1 btc is still ~$130), that's when the difficulty will stop going up 35% every 2016 blocks.

end is near.

+1 to dogie.
This is a sad day for the people who supported ASICMINER initially. I was part of the B3 auction who paid 50BTC / blade.
They never ROI'ed.

Even with the new price of 3.5Btc per blade for returning customers, these blades don't seem to ROI.

@Friedcat : When you replied to my PM earlier this week, i was expecting something better. You have let us down this time.
So much for taking our chances and vetting on ASICMINER

Sorry for the confusion brought.

The lowered price for returning customers is just an option as a favor. Of course we won't treat initial purchasers like this. The compensation/reward we talked about before would be different and more attractive.

Given how fast and far prices of ASICM hardware have fallen in the past month, the obvious move is to simply wait and not buy anything until things stabilize.

I don't want to be the one to try to catch a falling knife!
