It is said that 40% of bitcoin holds 1000 hands, another 20% masters 80% of bitcoin,
people have always been saying all kinds of weird stuff about bitcoin, you shouldn't believe them.
in fact there is no way of measuring how much bitcoin is held by how many people, which makes those numbers pure guess.
But what is the real value of the current bubble?
how should bitcoin cope with the problem of being too concentrated in the hands of a few people?
hold on a minute...
first you have to prove these two statements (a bubble and being controlled by few people) are true then start discussing about what happens next! you jumped over a step...
Can bitcoin be "currency" if anyone can arbitrarily manipulate bitcoin prices?
bitcoin is a currency and the volatility is not that strange. it is the product of the market being small and full of newbies. and as you can see it has been shrinking over time. for example the wild swings of years ago are not possible today despite price still being too volatile.
Will it be reduced to speculation or will it be replaced by other emerging virtual currencies?
then what is stopping that "emerging virtual currency" from going the same path?
