Electrum install wizard

Hello,
i allready used electrum and received Bitcoins, i did a Password and i got the seed... after i closed the window i saw that there was no Icon on my Desktop.....
so i installed the install wizard again... but the Password doesnt work... how can i enter the install wizard with the seed entering???

Please help me i bought Bitcoins for 300€.....

Find your wallet file. It's default_wallet in this directory: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located. Rename it to something else and then run electrum. It'll show you the install wizard so that you can restore from seed.

Sounds like you didn't use the "installer" version of Electrum, but used either the "Portable" version or the "Standalone" version.

Go to the folder where you downloaded it to and check the filename:

electrum-3.0.5.exe -> "Standalone" version
electrum-3.0.5-setup.exe -> "installer" version
electrum-3.0.5-portable.exe -> "portable" version

- Standalone version doesn't create icons but uses the "default" data/wallet folder location that Abdussamad listed above
- Installer version creates icons and start menu items and uses "default" data/wallet folder location as linked above
- Portable version doesn't create icons and generates a data/wallet directory in the same folder where the .exe is run from
