Hello, I am using SimpleMining OS to mine Ethereum to Nanopool. I have got the mining set up fine, but when I check my progress on Nanapool it always says "Incorrect Worker Name". I am using claymore-eth-v10.6 within SMOS.

I thought I have set it up properly in SMOS, the line being:

Default config: -wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -asm 1

I have changed the stratum address to nanopool and put my Eth Wallet address in, but I have tried putting a rig name in afterwards and Nanopool doesn't like it at all it seems.

The auto generate config file for Claymores miner from NP i:
 -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal [WALLET ADDRESS].Rig1/[EMAIL ADDRESS] -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10

Which I have also tried with no success.

I hope there will be no issue with NP and me losing a payout over this? It has registered fine with my walled address.

I realise this is probably a beginners question but if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated - I'm going round in circles here.

Thank you.

hi,

I did the same test to change from Dwarfpool to nanopool.

I used the following config:

-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0x.../rig1/myEmailAddress -mode 1 -esm 0 -asm 1 -allpools 1 -mport 127.0.0.1:3333

Rig is starting and sends share to nanopool.

Then log into nanopool and wait a bit until rig appears in the list.

works fine.

Configure the miners and wallet address from the group. Assign your rig into the group. Then reload the miner program.
