I would not use PayPal to purchase Bitcoins.  You can read the wiki if you want a detailed answer as to why.  Don't know what Webmoney is, sorry.  Debit card is also not very feasible right now.

The best place at the moment is the exchanges such as MtGox, Tradehill, and CampBX.

Use MtGox.com for transactions, to add funds use Dwolla.com and link that with your checking account.

also, MtGoxLive.com is a great tool for monitoring buy/sell orders & the price of BTC.

I wouldn't trust MtGox, TradeHill or Bitcoin7 seems like the better route to go.

Hey, why wouldn't you trust it? It's the oldest exchange and has the most experience/support.
The 'hacking' scandal was the fault of a third party company, they monitor transactions and make sure MtGox isn't stealing.
They were 'hacked'

besides... nobody lost and BTC or money from it.

You could mine for some to get started Wink
Bitclockers.com is a great pool.

Umm I suggest making a Dwolla account if you're serious about trading.

15 years? I trust that.

What makes you trust TradeHill?

I've noticed that few people in this forum make links, like MtGox, TradeHill, and CampBX.

Is this a huge practical joke or something? I can't go ANYWHERE and buy BitCoins without opening an account, adding a bank account to that exchange site, waiting days to verify my accout, transfer funds in, then finally, almost a fucking week later, FINALLY get some BitCoins to call my own?  REALLY?!?!? This is ridiculous. I've seriously never seen anything so challenging to buy. It's almost as if they make buying BitCoins really, REALLY hard to do, so no one wants to buy them. I haven't been this pissed of as I am now in months. Sad Angry Cry

You are right. Buying bitcoins should be really simple and it isn't. Just be patient. A week isn't that long...
