When your looking at that chart we're not looking at apples to apples.  People are using different configs, flags, variables, overclocking/voltages to archives certain hash rates.

My 6850 was doing around 220m hash a sec at 875mhz  (at 1000mhz it was around 242)
my 6770 does 185m hash a sec at 960mhz  (with flags i get 212)
my 5830 does 260m hash a sec (dont remember if i overclocked)
