Hello guys,

Hope I put this topic in a right place - if not please move or instruct me where is the proper place to ask such questions.

I'd like to ask if anyone have had any deals with the store called "pcbitcoinshop". It's obviously the store accepting bitcoins where you can buy some electronic & related stuff. However, some prices looks suspiciously low, I have no experience in buying anything for bitcoins and I am not aware how big is the scale of frauds, which stores are trusted, which are not and how to identify it. I would like to buy the camera from this store, but I could not find any opinions about this store on the Internet. If someone has any informations or experience related to this store please let me know. I would also be very grateful if someone could point me the topic where I can find some trusted and verified electronic stuff stores that accept bitcoins and sends products worldwide.

Thank you, cheers!

the dollar prices look pretty standard to me. i can't find bitcoin prices. if there are any it's possible their bitcoin pricing isn't dynamic and they're based on old exchange rates.

here's the whois stuff which looks consistent to the website - https://tools.tracemyip.org/lookup/pcbitcoinshop.com

i wouldn't bother myself.

That's a red flag, right there.

I have no experience in buying anything for bitcoins and I am not aware how big is the scale of frauds,
Quite big (unfortunately).

which stores are trusted, which are not

Take note: These lists aren't updated (incomplete) and some of the names might need re-ordering so you still have to search for each of those that you'll be using (for background check).

how to identify it.

Thank you guys, you were very helpful.

Store appears to be trusted, no negative feedback on the Net. Still, the prices bother me a bit. $1,468.00 (even the original price before discount - $1,728.00) for Canon EOS 5d mark III is inadequately low comparing to the prices of the same product in many different places. Anyway, thanks for your feedback, tips and helpful links.

Cheers! Cool

I've just hit this discussion after finding this "pcbitcoinshop" myself, searching for feedback.
Similarly to topicstarter, I've found Canon 1DX Mark2 price to be suspiciously low: $3,794 - compared to ~$5,500 at other places.
So... Any development since the beginning of the month?

that's really not a suspiciously low price.

this is a terrible store but it is established and real and delivers real products. that's a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than the place in this thread.

For me it sounds fishy:
1. Topic started looked for 5D Mark III. At pcbitcoinshop = $1,468, against $2,285 for the same model at the link above
2. I looked for 1DX Mark II (Canon flagship). Pcbitcoinshop offered it for $3,794. The store you've given link to it is $5,199: https://www.eglobalcentral.com/canon-eos-1dx-ii-body-only-digital-slr-cameras.html
(so at eglobalcenter it IS reasonable, compared to $5,499 at B&H and Adorama)

Such price difference held me from hitting "buy" button - to start searching references to this pcbitcoinshop store.  Wink

you are indeed right. i misread your price as a 5d mk iv.

i went through the buying process. it doesn't even quote you a price in bitcoin or give a live invoice. it plops a bitcoin and ethereum address on the page and only leaves a dollar price.

how or who is gonna guess what the bitcoin price is? do you get an indivdual address so they know it's you? it says nothing.

on the basis of the sale process this is a definite avoid. even if it's not a scam, it's a shambles.
