Now most competative projects are creating a new blockchain like how steller and neo does. To say frankly what you avoided is the best option to create a own project. Decentralized exchanges and trading site projects will get successful due to the relevancy of crypto platform.

Gambling projects are out of fashion, I don't think no will suggest to create a own domain for gambling site. I have a personal idea to create SEO and digital marketing project based on blockchain. Still gathering mates and development team members to invest on it.

You could launch interactive lessons for beginners about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, buying and selling cryptos, also trading and so on. You would probably have many visitors on your site. Maybe integrate some coins as bonus for each successfully completed lesson.
