Hey guys, I don't know if you are aware but at the block 5,500,000.
Here is the article about it: https://news.bitcoin.com/an-ethereum-classic-fork-snapshot-is-coming-next-week/

Wasn't the price supposed to go down after the fork? Why is it happening before the fork?

ETC is dumping down big going into this airdrop that means market does not see much value in Callisto currently.
The total supply of Callisto is in billions that is not good for price.
I got out of ETC a few days ago because  Callisto airdrop may not be worth much.

That is correct. Callisto airdrop may not worth of holding etc, but I believe some exchanges will support this airdrop and this will have a positive affect on price eventually. There is huge pressure from community into the exchanges.

Do you know the date of Callisto airdrop? I thought it was going to happen atound feb 28th. If I am mistaken and the date is coming up there is a good chance the coin will pump up again right before the fork. If anyone knows which date it is predicted to happen pls post. Thank you 😉

Our team is glad to announce that we’re getting down to the launch of the Callisto coin test network by the developers of Ethereum Classic.
There is a common misconception that Callisto is an ETC fork. But actually, it is an absolutely new blockchain worked out for testing experimental protocols, possible scaling solutions and creating management systems that would have a PoW/PoS Hybrid Algorithm.

The address of the mining pool is as follows: www.clopool.pro.
You can test your mining settings with our testnet pool: http://test.clopool.pro

On April 15, 2018 the testnet will be replaced with a mainnet, and tokens will be charged to your wallets. At the moment the coin is already traded at the Yobit Exchange. The HitBTC Exchange has expressed its support for this project and voiced the presence of the coin in the listing after the official start.

Short summary of Callisto:

Number of coins in the block: 600 CLO (30% treasury fee)

POW Algorithm, Dagger Hashimoto (Ethash)

Block interval: 15 seconds

100% compatibility with Etherum Virtual Machine

Max emission of coins: 6,500,000,000 CLO
